The crowd murmured, the atmosphere growing more tense. The elders, with their silver hair and wise eyes, sat in the front row, a few shaking their heads in disapproval. One of them, Elder Horace, couldn’t hold back and spoke up, “Serena, airing our dirty laundry in public like this, isn’t it too much?”
