As I made my way through her apartment, taking it one step at a time, I found that I couldn’t seem to shake the feeling that something wasn’t entirely right. I would go as far as stating that something was ‘off’. I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was that was making me feel that way, but the fact of the matter remained that I was able to pick up on it.
