On the way back to Dave and Buster’s, I find my eyes lingering on Kai, replaying what just happened over and over again. I bounce my leg lightly, turning my head to look out of the passenger window. I notice Kai looking out of the corner of my eye, “You okay,” he asks softly. Turning my head towards him, I smile and say, “Yes, I am.” He returns the smile and focuses back on the road. Once he has pulled the car into a parking spot, he hops out, lightly closes the door, and walks over to mine, opening it. I look up at him as I step out of my car; his eyes still burn with lust, a feeling we both can’t seem to shake.
