Forgotten
Where am I?
Floating in nothingness, I felt like an extract thought floating in the vast void of endless space.
A Voice Familiar to my own echoed in response.
"It's time to Awaken. You know what you need to do. You have a few tasks left before your final fight."
The voice faded as I could feel myself entering my body again. My body screamed in pain, My heart was heavy with burdens and scars.
Forcing my eyes to open, I lay on a stone stone cold floor feeling my body broken, I could see green glowing whisp floating, rolling over i screamed in agony. Clawing at the granite floor, I followed the whisp that summond me screaming through the tears i crawled through a passage where the green whisp floated around an orb that was covered in pearlescent flame.
My hand slowly reached for it as if by instinct, it almost felt like it belonged to me. The orb summoned itself to my hand. The whispers began circling me faster and faster as shimmering lights started engulfing me.
Once the light subsided, I felt new again, Stronger. Strange, colorful scars were now covering my arms, and my hair returned to its flaming red color.
Iridescent light glowed on the cave walls around me, glowing as if trying to lead me out of this stone maze.
Following the glow, I tried to surch my memory.
How did I get here?
what Happened to me?
Fragments of memories flashed along during the journey, Similar to a puzzle, the pieces were scattered. Some were missing, and all I could do was walk in silence, trying to piece it all together, with random faces, strange voices filling my mind..
I feel like I have been walking for hours, yet still no sign of an exit. Exhaustion began to nag at me. im not sure how long
I have been down here, but my body screamed for rest.
Finding myself a well lit area, I sat tor a rest trying to remember how I went from tutoring people at the community center to a glowing cave maze.
I felt tears begining to form. My body, I felt like I wasn't my own, I was in a cave god only knows where, and I don't even know what day it is. I let myself get caught up in the tears. My memory was blank, fragments of faces I couldn't remember, voices that rang in my ears that sounded familiar yet were a jumbled mess of unorganized noise.
I wrapped my arms around myself just to feel some sort of warmth, trying to process what had become of me
I must have dosed off in my pity party when I woke the panic began to set back in, for a moment i had forgotten i was in a dark cave, I wish i was back in my bed my hair was once a long thick wave of red flowing down my back now was coated in soot and dirt, my jeans and sweat shirt turned into some leather travel gear that clung to my chest and butt in a way i was not a fan of. Although i did notice a more toned abbs, i have always been slender and well-endowed, but now it felt like i had been working out non-stop for months .
The last thing I remember was waking up and going to the class I thought at the community center for those who were never taught basic life skills. "How did I go from a community center to a maze of cave corridors?"
Finally getting ready to try to find my way out again, I picked one of the three corridors in front of me and began to walk with determination." I refuse to die in some cave in the middle of I don't know where!"
After what felt like hours of walking, i was getting hungry, I don't remember the last time I ate. my lips were breaking from lack of moisture. Exhaustion nagged at me begging for sleep, food , water, just anything at this point.
Just as I was about to give up and lay down, I could hear voices coming from down the corridor. Panicking my mind began to race with all of the worst-case scenarios. Maybe they were kidnappers trying to sell me to trolls, Maybe they brought me here to harvest my organs.
"Stop it! get a grip on yourself!"
I remember seeing a decrepit branch a little ways back, so I quietly backed down the corridor.
reaching for the branch. I braced myself to fight. I might not win, but I would at least make sure to take out one of them with me.
The voices kept growing louder and louder with each moment I felt my vision going blurry. I could barely see the illumination of the florescent glow around me.
"she has to be down here somewhere!"
"she has been gone for days. Maybe she got lost down here. This place is a maze.
They sound as if they are looking for me. Their voices sound familiar.
losing my footing, i used the branch to catch me.
the noise of my scuffle must have notified whoever was coming down the hallway, I could hear their voices lower and the steps slow with caution.
worn in decided to meet them and deal with whatever fate awaited. If I stay here, I'll die for sure, at least with the strangers. I might make it out to fight another day.
stepping closer, I mustered what strength I had left to call out.
" I don't know if im the one you're looking for but mind pointing me to an exit?"
just as three figures appeared in my fading sight, my legs finally gave.
my head cracked on the ground, and a ringing in my ear began.
"She's here!"
I felt arms wrap around me, pulling me into a warmth I had been depleted of during my stay here.
"Look! her hair, it's not white! could it be?"
"Sasha, is that you? is it really you?
panting for what little air instead could hold. i was surprised when I was able to gasp a smart ass remark.
" That's my name. Don't wear it out."
falling asleep, their voices drifted away.
