Chapter 21 Izzy Epilog Part 1 I find myself sitting on the patio more and more these days. Carolyn Jane, we call her CJ, is sleeping in my arm after nursing and Ashton is upstairs getting ready for work. He steps out onto the patio and sees me watching her. “She back to sleep?” he asks. I look up at him and say “She is. Went right back to sleep after eating.” I tell him. “Good.” He whispers, leaning down to kiss me. “I have a meeting at noon, but I should be home early.” He tells me. “Okay. I think I might go to see Karen and Jason today.” I tell him. “Do you need Nick?” he asks. “No, I’ll drive.” I tell him. “Are you sure?” he asks. “Positive baby. Go. We will be fine.” I tell him. He kisses the top of CJ’s head and then kisses me before heading out. A little later, I head out the doo
