CHAPTER 3

The Bond.

"Should I continue. " Lycan King Jude asked

"Yes." Mia said with a shaky voice..

"My mother Freya told me this and she made me promise her that I would tell you.. She's late." Lycan King Jude said bowing his head..

Mia felt pity for him and she moved closer to him to also console him as she had never seen him in such state before and it shows how much he misses her..

"The marriage..Yes the deal." He continued trying to distract himself from the mood..

"Do you know anything about the plan Alpha Duke mentioned." Mia asked eager to know more..

"Yes I do." Lycan King Jude answered

Mia eyes became broadened as she couldn't wait to hear about their so called marriage deal.. She wanted to know why Alpha Duke called off the wedding and never liked her after all this years they have been together..

"It was a plan orchestrated by Alpha Louis." Lycan King Jude said smiling slightly

"After he found out that a seed of Pete was alive, he became restless because he knew you were the rightful heir of moon pack and you would take the position off his son Alpha Duke..He told his son about the whole story..He told Alpha Duke to date and marry you,after that you'll be killed slowly... Alpha Duke who was not in support of his father's idea,disagreed to his plans.. His father kept persuading him until he agreed to date you." Lycan King Jude said glaring at Mia

"So he was forced by his father to love me?..This is too much to bear." Mia said as tears clouded her eyes

"He dated you out of his father's will but didn't agree to marry you because he didn't hate you to the point of killing you.. That was the reason he stopped the marriage..He wanted to save your life."Lycan King Jude said making her to see Alpha Duke in another light..

"He had to reject you so that you would be saved."Lycan King Jude added

"Alpha Jude rejected me in the presence of the werewolves of Moon pack." Mia said sadly

"Would you have preferred being dead?." Lycan King Jude asked looking at Mia sternly

Mia became quiet for some minutes...

"How did you find out this." Mia asked being inquisitive..

"Let's just say I know all things.. Remember that I am a Lycan." Lycan King Jude said with sense of pride..

"So what should I do to regain my place."Mia asked confidently...

Mia could fill a new strength, power, determination within her...She was ready to do anything possible to get back what is rightfully hers and fulfilling her late Mother's wish..

"I'll train you." Lycan King Jude said as his voice echoed the room..

"Train me?." Mia asked, as she was confused of what she just heard..

"Yes, Mia you are meant for greater things..You are not just a mere werewolf but a daughter to a powerful Alpha Family.. Your father won so many battles.. You are powerful and you are destined for greatness " Lycan King Jude said authoritatively..

Mia couldn't believe she had such strength within her as she has always felt less of herself.. The words the Lycan struck her like an arrow of strength...The words echoed in her ears..For a minute she felt she was out of the world..

" I am ready. " Mia said confidently feeling energized..

"We'll start the training by dawn.. Be ready."Lycan King Jude said

"I am very much ready." Mia replied feeling determined..

As Mia head to her room she couldn't process all she had heard but she was happy to find out her true self.. She prepared to take revenge and regain her position and she was ready to do anything to make it be a success...

It was Dawn as Lycan King Jude took her to a secluded garden as the scent of night-blooming flowers filled the air which he said would be their place for the training..Lycan King Jude taught her the basic things,encouraging and supporting her...

Years passed as Mia continued her training with the Lycan king Jude.. The more they trained the more closer they became..Lycan King Jude became fond of Mia and couldn't wait to see her beautiful face each day..Their connection became undeniable,their bond deepened...A powerful force that they couldn't comprehend...

Lycan King Jude fell in love with Mia and he couldn't express his feelings because he was scared of being turned down..Mia on the other hand,was scared of falling Inlove because her past experience...She was scared of being heartbroken for the second time..she decided to rub off her feelings and concentrate of the purpose of her being here...As Mia began the Journey of redemption and Revenge...She was ready to retrieve all what Alpha Loius had taken away from her and her Family..She was ready to seek revenge...

"I feel you are ready for the revenge."Lycan King Jude said reassuringly

"I have trained you with special skills and I can say you are ready..I can say you are ready to bring down every obstacles that comes your way ." Lycan King Jude added..

"Are you ready." He asked authoritatively..

He looked at Mia's face waiting patiently to hear her response..Mia became silent trying to be sure of her response..

"Yes I am fully ready."Mia said

"I am ready to take back what rightfully belongs to me...I am ready to fulfill my late mother's wish. " Mia said as her shoulder became heightened with confidence..

"That is good to hear. " Lycan King Jude said applauding Mia and her new sense of confidence..

"Remember it is your battle and I'll only be there to help you.." He said

"I know.. And thank you for your help."Mia said smiling slightly

"You are welcome."He said glancing at Mia

"Be ready for we set out tomorrow."Lycan King Jude added as he patted her shoulders..
