Chapter 5.
After work, Bella went to the hospital where Celine was still being treated.
"Mom." Celine smiled at Bella's arrival.
"Honey, how are you?" Bella kissed her little daughter's forehead.
"I'm not sick anymore."
"The doctor said Celine's condition has improved and the day after tomorrow she will be allowed to go home." Celine's nanny explained.
"Oh I see, that's good." Bella smiled with relief, "Honey, I bought a lot of food for you." Bella took out some food from the plastic and placed it on the table.
"Strawberry? When did you buy Strawberry?" Bella looked at the Strawberry fruit on the table.
"Strawberry was given to me by my handsome uncle."
"Handsome uncle?"
"The strawberry was given by Mr. Asher, he was visiting Celine earlier." Celine's nanny explained again.
"Asher?" Bella stood up from her seat, "I want to talk to you." Bella led Celine's nanny out of the room, "Sally, why did you let that man visit Celine?" Bella looked annoyed.
"Sorry miss, so what if Mr. Asher visits Celine? He's a good man and-"
"I forbid him to see Celine!"
Sally spontaneously paused, "Looks like I forgot to tell you to forbid Asher from seeing Celine. You don't need to know why, just follow my orders." Bella said firmly.
"Yes miss, I'm sorry," Sally replied, obediently.
The next day after receiving news that Celine was still in the hospital Asher returned to visit Celine. At 2 pm Asher arrived at the hospital, and he rushed into Celine's hospital room.
"Excuse me." Asher said while opening the door, "Where is Celine's nanny? Why did she leave Celine alone?" The room looked quiet with only Celine asleep.
Asher placed the Strawberry he brought on the table and smiled at his daughter's adorable face.
"Asher."
Asher spontaneously turned his head, "Bella?" Asher was surprised to see Bella who was hiding in the room.
"I want to talk to you." Bella asked Asher to leave the room, "Stop visiting and bring something for Celine!" Bella threw the Strawberry that Asher was carrying on the floor.
"Must you behave like that?" Asher gave her a disappointed look.
"I should be the one asking why you are now acting as if you care about Celine?"
"I care, she's my daughter."
"But Celine doesn't want to have a father like you. Have you forgotten how you ignored me in the past? Have you forgotten?"
Asher was silent, he wanted to defend himself but there was no way he could say the real reason.
"I don't want Celine to know about our past, from this moment on stay away from her."
"I can't stay away from her, she's still my daughter after all."
"Enough! Stop hurting me again, I don't want you to reappear in my life and Celine's!"
"Bella, wait." Asher grabbed Bella's arm who was about to leave, "You don't understand my situation." Asher said that he wanted to say that he still loved Bella and that what happened in the past was only done to protect Bella.
"Let her go." Lucas who saw the two immediately brushed Asher's hand away "Stop bothering my wife." Lucas emphasized.
"I understand." Asher smiled sarcastically, leaving the hospital.
"Are you okay?" Lucas led Bella to sit in a chair, "That man is a pain in the ass." Lucas looked upset to see Bella crying.
"I'm okay." Bella wiped away her tears.
"I won't let that man bother you again."
Meanwhile, in a different place, Mr. Jackson was looking over some documents that his assistant had given him.
"The girl's name is Bella Smith, she used to live in this town but in recent years she moved away." The personal assistant explained.
"We're not too late, hurry up and find out where that girl is now." Mr. Jackson ordered with a faint smile, happy to have found out a little information about Dante's daughter.
"Yes, sir."
Asher's assistant who overheard the conversation immediately contacted Asher.
"Yes hello, what's up?" Asher answered his phone, "What, did you find out Laura's identity?" Asher who heard the news suddenly panicked.
Asher sighed deeply, trying to calm himself, "Keep an eye on them, don't let them know Bella's whereabouts."
"Yes sir" Asher hung up the phone.
Asher paced back and forth nervously, he didn't think that his father could find Bella's identity.
"What should I do? I don't want Bella to be in danger." Asher tried to think, "I have to make her go away, but how? She already has a husband now."

"Excuse me." A man knocked on the door of Bella's study.
"Mr. Ashton, please come in." Bella smiled and invited her guest to sit down.
"I brought some files." The man who worked as a lawyer handed Bella some of the files he was carrying.
Bella read them carefully.
"I've checked all the chronologies of that day. The local police said it was just a traffic accident but from the autopsy results there were several unnatural injuries on the victim's body, but strangely the police closed the case."
Bella smiled bitterly at that, "I was right, my father won a premeditated murder."
"I will continue to look for strong evidence." Said the lawyer.
"Alright, I will help in any way to solve this case," Bella replied.
Meanwhile, all night Asher could not sleep, he kept thinking about how to make Bella's whereabouts unknown to her father.
"I have to make sure that Bella's husband can protect her, who exactly is Lucas? Is he just an ordinary businessman?"
The next day Asher came to his office as usual.
"Excuse me." A man knocked on the door of his office.
"Come in."
The man entered and sat in front of Asher.
"Sir, here are some files on Lucas Stone's identity." He handed Asher the file.
"Okay, thank you." The man left the room.
Asher examined the file carefully. "He's just a businessman?" Asher smiled a little knowing Lucas was just a man who owned 3 restaurants in the city, obviously financially Asher was superior.
"What is this? Why is he single here?" Asher frowned, "Did he forget to change his marital status?"
The curious Asher tried to find out information about Lucas, "Not a single marriage record under his name? Is this a joke?"
