Chapter 1. "I'm pregnant?" Arabella was surprised to see that the pregnancy test she was holding showed a line 2, indicating that she was pregnant. "I'm pregnant?" The 30-year-old girl smiled faintly as there was no look of panic or fear on her face. Arabella is sure that the man named Asher, who is now her lover, loves her very much, making Bella sure that Asher will want to take responsibility for her pregnancy. "I have to tell Asher." Bella smiled again, she had loved Asher for a long time until finally their relationship could be established. Asher was always kind to her and convinced her that Asher loved her very much. Bella immediately got ready to go to the office. It has been 6 months since she worked as a secretary for a large company led by Asher. After finishing a little work, Bella went to Asher's office. "Honey." Bella smiled as she opened the door. "What's wrong?" She saw Asher, who was busy checking some documents on his desk. "I have a surprise for you." "Surprise?" Bella took out a pregnancy test from her pocket. "I'm pregnant." "Pregnant?" Asher looked surprised. "Yes, I'm pregnant. This is your child." "What kind of news is this?" Asher smiled wryly. "What do you mean?" Bella was getting confused because there was no happy look on Asher's face. "You're not supposed to be pregnant." "What?" "Come out, I'm busy." "But honey, I'm not done talking and -" "I said get out!" Bella was surprised, this was the first time Asher yelled at her. "Get out!" Bella was speechless. She quickly walked out of Asher's office. Bella sat limply in her work chair, she couldn't believe why Asher was acting like that. "Asher was just surprised, he loves me." Bella tried to calm herself down. When lunchtime arrived Bella saw Asher who was enjoying his lunch at the cafe. Unlike usual, Asher usually always invited Bella to have lunch together. "Honey." Bella walked over and sat in front of Asher, "Why haven't you invited me to lunch together lately?" Bella questioned Asher's attitude, which seemed to have changed in recent days. Asher did not answer, seemingly enjoying his meal. "Honey, I'm pregnant. You want to marry me, right?" "Marry?" "Yes, marry, because I'm pregnant with your child." "I can't marry you." "What? Why? Don't you love me?" "I don't love you." "What?" "You're making me lose my appetite." Asher stood up from his seat and walked out of the cafe. Bella was still silent for a while but her tears could not be held back anymore. Asher's words hurt her deeply. Bella didn't understand why Asher suddenly changed when previously Asher loved her very much. All night Bella tried to think positively. Bella still believes that Asher didn't say it all and believes that Asher still loves her. The next day Bella continued to work as usual and intended to talk more intensely with Asher. "Excuse me, is Mr. Asher here?" "Asher?" Looking at the beautiful, sexy woman standing near her desk. "Yes, is Asher in his office?" "Yes, what do you need?" "I have an appointment with him." The woman smiled and walked away towards Asher's office. Bella was suddenly uneasy, she had never seen that woman. "Should I check?" Feeling curious Bella immediately went to Asher's study and knocked on the door several times but there was no sound from inside. Bella slowly opened the door, Bella was very surprised to see Asher kissing the woman. "Honey!" Bella half shouted making Asher surprised. "Why are you so sassy?" "Sassy? I am your lover! Who is this woman?" Asher didn't answer, asking the woman to come out. Bella was still silent with tears falling. "I don't understand why you're doing this. What did I do wrong?" "You did nothing wrong, I just no longer love you and that woman is my new lover." "What?" Bella shook her head in disbelief, feeling unable to argue Bella immediately left Asher's room. Although disappointed Bella still tried to think positively, she still acted like a lover even though Asher was cold to her. "Happy birthday dear. Can we meet tonight? I have prepared a gift for you." Bella wrote in her message. "Tonight come to the Near Hotel." "Hotel Near?" Bella smiled slightly reading it, "Does he want to spend a special night with me?" That night Bella got ready immediately. Today was Asher's birthday and Bella was sure that Asher wanted to spend a special night with her. Bella, who was already wearing a beautiful dress, rushed to the hotel. "Is this the hotel?" Bella read the message on her cell phone Asher asked Bella to go to the hotel ballroom. "What is this?" Bella looked surprised to see the hotel ballroom which already looked crowded. "Have you come?" "Honey, whose wedding is this?" Asher smiled, "There is no wedding ceremony but an engagement ceremony. My engagement." "What do you mean?" Asher waved his hand at a woman, "This is Renata, my fiancée." Bella's tears had not yet dried but Asher disappointed her again. "What kind of joke is this?" She stares at the woman who kissed the other day in Asher's office. "It's not a joke." A host called Asher's name without hesitation Asher held the woman intimately. Bella tried her best to hold back her tears when she saw Asher put the engagement ring on her finger. Faintly heard people gossiping about Bella. Her old office mates had always gossiped that Asher couldn't really love a poor girl like Bella and now their words seemed to be true. "You're not home yet?" Asher approached, seeing Bella who was still at the venue. Bella pulled Asher's hand away from the venue. "What do you mean, what did I do wrong?" Bella again questioned Asher's attitude. "I told you that you are not wrong, I just don't love you anymore." "Then what about this child?" "Child? Is that my child?" Plak! Bella slapped Asher on the cheek. She couldn't believe why Asher would say something like that. Even though Asher also knew that Asher was the only man who touched her. Asher smiled slightly and took out the money from his wallet. "Just abort the baby and walk away from my life. I think this money is more than enough for you." Bella wiped her tears, took the money, and threw it at Asher's face. "I don't need your money, without this money I will leave your life."
