Every day, the Lady comes up with a new task for me. She calls it, putting me through her own finishing school for tower tithes. One time, she ordered me to find a talking fish. Another day, she demanded that I find her a mariachi band. And let’s not forget when she wanted an entire box of those new croissant-donuts (as in, the ones that no one can get.)
As the weeks pass, I learn how to dress like a human and talk like a New Yorker. Essentially, I spend a lot of time on my enchanted cell phone. To help Elle, I even force the Lady to include a certain jewelry company on her webcast. Talk about fun.
Of all the mini-quests, the most important one is cataloging every magical item in the Apex. As I sort through all the potions and goodies, I come to a major realization.
