Chapter 10: Rehearsal

This is the first fashion event I was allowed to organize in the university.

I was afraid of messing it up,I had sleepless night just trying to make everything perfect.

I arrived to the university theatre ,five minutes to time and I had a lot to arrange starting the the lightings and there was some changes that were needed to be done on the choreography.

"you are almost late and that is not like your"my assistant organizer asked the moment I walked in.

"nice to see your,what about you start with that " I a said to here smiling.

"I sleep late last night and I had some classes to attend"

"you are really hardworking I admire you"I she said ,as she walked away to check on the lighting.

The whole theater was decorated with purple and white balloons,the main entrance was filled with purple and white flowers that had the shape of the door.

The theme of this year fashion show was purple and white which represented royalty and peace.

"how is my favorite designer" Danny shouted as he enter the dressing room.

"Am fine " I answered while we did you usual greeting style and I hugged him.

"Everything look beautiful,your are doing a great job here bro,I want to see the gown " he said acting like a child,with pouted lips.

"it's a surprise ,no one is supposed to see it " I said teasing him.

"don't look at me with those puppy eyes am not showing you,and it's not complete yet" he was looking at me with puppy eyes that pleaded for me to show him.

"Can I be the first one to see it " he said leaning in my shoulder.

"I will think about it " I said pushing he out of my shoulder.

"That's not a no " he was happy,as he sat down in front of the dressing mirror ."can you do my make up" he asked smiling."I can't and I won't because am busy"I answered walking w away to the walk-in closet,,to select the close needed for today rehearsal.

"since you started organizing this event you don't have time for us,you don't attend game not and even don't want to have lunch with us" he said with a sad voice.

"stop being dramatic you know I have to do everything thing by myself,is not like I don't want to be with you guys"I said it made me feel bad,it true I haven't be around for the ,for most time I spend in the my working studio I even skip lunch just to make sure am on schedule.

"Danny,just for two days and everything will be back to normal"I answered hugging him from behind.

"it's okay I understand,but" "but what " I asked before he could finish his statement.

"I have something to tell you" his eyes were glowing and he seemed happy, I knew it was something good but he was having hard time deciding what to do.

"Okay,I will call my boss to tell him I won't be able to report to work today and we can have dinner and talk after am done here" i said fetching my phone from my pocket to make the call.

"That will work thank you" he said smiling"ok I will leave you so you can finish what you were doing, I love you bro" he said closing the door behind him.

sometimes he can be very childish and clingy.He always wants attention he like the baby in our friends.

"everyone get dress we have to do one more runway."I walked to the main stage where the models were cat walking.

They went into the dressing room to get ready ,I had prepared everything for them .

They come back full dressed and ready to start.

"okay guys good work,we will start with the runway and then the the dance ,hope you have been doing extra practice on your steps and dancing moves there is no room for mistake today" I said the a cold and intimidating expenses.

"You,can your focused on your steps I told you there is no room for mistake today"she was really scared and shocked,I was shouting at her.

"you either improve or he will stay here until the time you get it right am I making myself clear"they nodded in responded.

They knew I meant every word I said by the look in their face they were scared.

"okay start again"I shouting brushing my hair with my hand.

"Take over and make sure they are perfect if there is any mistake" I told my assistant and I walked out to go and meet Danny.

"Your late " he said out loud and waved his hand.i walked to where he was sited.

"I had to leave the rehearsal early for you and you are here shouting at me ,you asshole."I was cold which made him speechless.

"thank you for coming I really need your opinion on this " he was serious and he looked tensed,there is something wrong.

"I need a drink first" I said to him to ease the tension,I gestured the waiter to come over and order one Expresso and chocolate cake.

"ok what is it"I asked him.

"I ,I am " he was tensed and was searching for the right word to say what he wanted.

"I am what "

"IhavebeendatingMarkmiller'ssister"he said so fast that I could not even understand a word that come from his mouth.

"you have been what"I gave him a raised brow,with a cold expression.

"I have been dating Miller's younger daughter

"what "I was left speechless, mouth half open ,I brushed my hair backward eyes wide open.

"I didn't know that Mr Anderson Miller had other kids apart from Luca"I asked in shock I couldn't I know that he had other children,leave alone a daughter,we have been in business with miller's and he never mentioned he had kids.

He was surprised,"yeah,he has three kids and how didn't you not know"

"And when did you start dating"I asked him changing the story.

"five months now"he said looking down to avoid eye contact.

"What five month and how did we not know"

"you know our families are business rivals ,I just wanted to keep it private ,and again I wanted to make sure it was not just a fling.",he was smiling remembering the good time he had with her.

"you already know the conscience of your action and what I can't do to both of you ,if it is worth the risk then go for it you have my full support" he jumped over to the sit next me and embraced me ,it was quit unexpected ,I was shocked but his action and didn't know how to react,after putting myself together I hugged him back.

He was crying ,I patted his head and bursted my fingers through his hair "Hey ,it's gone be okay ,if you are not ready to tell your parents then don't,and what's your your secret lover name" I asked him jocking wanting to make him smile,and it actually worked.

"Alia,she is very beautiful she has blue eyes and long curly hair " his eyes said it all ,he was totally in love with her.

Why do we kids have to pay for our parent mistakes .even if you ask me what the rival between those family is all about I can't even say.The price we have to pay for being born with a name that has a lot of enemies that you don't even know what enemity was all about.
