My Dog Can Talk!?

I was never a regular girl... Believe me, I wish I was sometimes! I bet you think being a witch is all magic, no work. Well, tell that to my fifth grade Calculus of Magic teacher.  You read that right, CALCULUS, in FIFTH GRADE. Witchy schooling is serious business. Witches "age-to-power" at 21. Dumb name, I know. Some Oldwitch came up with it back in the day and now we are stuck with it, lucky us! Prewitches enter school at age 6 and most begin showing their powers at that time, although in an extremely limited way. For example, my best friend Jan can float a whole 2 inches off the ground. She's hopeful that will turn into the power of flight, a common skill in the Avión family. I'm hopeful it will turn into the power of speed. Who wouldn't want to see a witch floating 2 inches off the ground at 80 miles per hour? I know I would. What's my power? I'm glad you asked...
