Anton Nikolov was peeking around the corner of the hallway leading to the foreboding steel doors in the basement of the headquarters building. A few soldiers were running back and forth with sandbags as they quickly made two machine gun nests mounted with thirty caliber M1919 Browning Machine Guns. The M1919 Browning Machine gun was first invented as a water-cooled coaxial or mounted light machine gun for support purposes back during World War One in the year 1917. It was the brain-child of John M Browning who later switched it to air-cooled after the war had ended. The difference between the M1919 and it's predecessor the M1917 was the size of the gun and the fact that the M191 featured a holed sleeve in order to air cool the barrel as it fired continuously.
