The muscle in Cameron's leg was jerking violently in both directions. He had the television on, but he wasn't watching it at any point. And despite everything, Lily had not yet come back, and all he could do was think about how much he missed being with her. Dinnertime had arrived and gone by in the blink of an eye.
The scenario was a little uncomfortable because Courtney hadn't bothered to stop by and Jaxon was out with his girlfriend at the time. It was probably for the best that he hadn't consumed any alcoholic beverages, as this situation would have been much worse if he had.
