Chapter 10

1326 Words
Lily came to a stop at the farthest point of the corridor. Her long hair was dripping wet and clung to her. She had changed her outfit and was now wearing a tank top, a baggy hoodie, and black leggings. This time around, she decided to wear pantyhose so that her butt wouldn't attract even more attention to itself than it already did. Cameron's look shifted from one of shock to one of a smile before he even had a chance to respond to her. I told Jaxon, "I'm used to having a girl around because we've been hanging out together for years," because I'm accustomed to having a female companion around. "There's also Courtney to consider." Having me here shouldn't be all that unusual of an experience. When Lily noticed that Cameron's smile was beginning to fade, she discovered that she was unable to control her own. She eventually found herself in the kitchen as a result of her inability to make it disappear. When she finally examined the refrigerator, she was shocked to discover how little food he truly had. There was a possibility that they might order pizza for dinner today. "Aaron has made his way back!" A resounding cheer came from Jaxon. "Would it be possible for me to go in front of everyone?" Aaron began to mutter as a result of it. When Lily went back into the living area, she observed Jaxon and Cameron each taking a beer from the opened box that was on the coffee table. Aaron accidentally made eye contact with Lily when he was rolling his eyes. Cameron brought up the subject of purchasing a female item. Because my sister is prone to getting sick from the pre-mixed coolers, I bought you a bottle of Bacardi and some juice as a precaution. The corners of Lily's eyes popped slightly as she expressed surprise; that was quite thoughtful of you to think of her. She didn't drink too often, especially considering that she was still a minor, but she did enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage. "Appreciate it." She smiled warmly at Aaron, which was quite endearing. "Uh, not that I can think of." He smiled back at her, but quickly turned his head aside to hide the blush that had begun to form on his cheeks. Everyone assembled in the kitchen to put away the various drinks (beer and juice for the fridge, Bacardi for the freezer). What do you say if I make the suggestion that we buy pizza for dinner? Lily nervously tapped her fingers on the table while her eyes darted from one man to the next in an attempt to read each individual's reaction. In that case, that's wonderful news, because it looks like I won't be leaving after all. If you need a pick-me-up, get pizza. It appears that Jaxon has provided a response. If you want to call someone, I'll pay for it if you do. Cameron reached out and lightly touched Lily on the shoulder. "Alright." Cameron managed to get a titter or two from her, in the sense of "What does everybody want?" She went back to her room once they had reached a decision so that she could place an order for three extremely large pizzas. We decided to have three different topping combinations for our pizzas and ordered one with pepperoni, one with "trash," and one with sausage and mushrooms. It arrived around an hour later, by which time she had already consumed two drinks. It was her very first time trying a mixed alcoholic beverage, and Aaron did an excellent job of making her a delicious concoction. It was reassuring to find out that he was not the type of person who would purposely overserve alcohol in order to get another person intoxicated. While the men drank beer with their meals, Lily chose not to partake in any alcoholic beverages while she was eating. Even though the vast majority of the pizzas were consumed, some were put aside for consumption at a later time. After putting it away and cleaning up, Lily graciously accepted Aaron's offer of a fresh drink and thanked him for it. After having a few more drinks, she learned that Jaxon, like Cameron, was 19 years old, that Aaron was 22 years old, and that Courtney was 21 years old. The group may have obtained their alcoholic beverages by either of these two methods. In order for Jaxon to realise his dream of becoming a successful graphic designer, he decided to pursue an associate's degree in art. When it was all said and done, he was met with offers from a number of different businesses. Even while his creativity and flair were not appreciated by all businesses, a number of more contemporary places did. Aaron first obtained an associate's degree in applied science before settling on the direction he wanted to take his professional life. He is now working toward a bachelor's degree in business. He intended to launch a tattoo parlour, so he started putting money away for a start-up venture. In addition to this, she was aware of the tattoo that he had on his left arm, which he had created and gotten done by himself. She bolstered his confidence by assuring him that she had faith in his ability to succeed in the endeavour. Courtney enrolled in her first year of college when she was just 19 years old, and the only reason she did so was because her parents insisted that she do so. She used it primarily as an excuse to go out and have fun, despite the fact that other people saw it as her "getting her life together." She had no choice if she wanted to keep getting a monthly allowance from her parents other than to comply with their request. Lily maintained her silence about Cameron and Courtney, even though she was sceptical about her ability to do so for the remainder of the night. She was starting to loosen up and feel at ease while she was surrounded by Cameron's friends. It was nothing s****l, but whenever they made fun of her, she couldn't help but physically approach them, sit next to them, or give them a nice push or shove. At one in the morning, Lily was a complete and utter mess. She was a bit unsteady on her feet, but other than that, she wasn't an especially sloppy or rowdy drunk. Aaron had been successful in catching her twice, each time propping her up with his arm arched over her back. She couldn't say for certain, but it seemed likely that she leaned in close to him to take a whiff of his cologne before straightening up and apologising as her cheeks began to flush. She couldn't say for certain, but it seemed likely that she took a whiff of his cologne. I think I'll go ahead and call it a night. She burst into laughter after suffering her second defeat at the hands of gravity. "Oh, are you unable to hold out for a little while longer?" The vodka was making Jaxon's eyes glitter, and he whimpered. I am well aware that this will not be possible for me. Soon, maybe as soon as tomorrow, I will be giving a tour of a college. Oh, today. If you are interested, I can give you a tour of the facility. When Jaxon jerked, one arm was wrapped around her to carry her back to the pack, where the rest of the pack was standing. He reported that she had left the room to go to bed. Instantaneously, Lily turned her attention to Cameron. Even if the other two didn't, she was able to pick up on the anger and resentment that were embedded in his remarks. She was adamant that she would bring it along with her wherever they went. At that very moment, water started dripping out of her underwear.
