Chapter 7

1209 Words
Cameron took some time to unwind on the sofa in the living room. After he had shown Lily her room, he gave her some space so that she could change into something more comfortable and get settled in. Being able to get back inside of her and smell and taste her skin was an experience that was even more incredible than he had remembered. Already, his d**k wanted more of her in whatever form it came in. He didn't care. He checked his phone to pass time, only to find texts from Courtney and Aaron waiting for him there. The first thing he noticed was that Aaron had expressed interest in going there. Because Cameron and Lily needed some alone time, they had to kick Jaxon out first thing that morning. Instantaneously, he realised that she would be someone that both of his close friends would be quite interested in dating. In addition to this, Courtney's feelings of envy did not abate even after she became aware that he was not dating her. Additionally, he was unable to speculate on how Lily would feel about the other woman. Before he could figure out what was going on, someone had already knocked on his door. This perplexed him at first, but then he realised that he had just forgotten that he had locked it. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone before proceeding to answer the call. Courtney was not wearing any shoes while she stood there in only her yoga pants and a tank top. She had her cleavage exposed. Although many men would be ecstatic to find a woman dressed like that at their door, he was dissatisfied with the situation. "Why are you even in this place?" "I noticed that you did not react to my text, so I decided to stop by," the person said. She popped a bubble she'd created with her gum by blowing on it with her teeth, and the bubble had a nice, rose-colored appearance to it. Helping my new roommate move in is something I'm doing right now. Greeting them with the words, "I'm here to help you." She brushed past him with a grin on her face as she did so. Inquiring about his location, "Where is he?" "She." He was so angry that he slammed the door in his face and clenched his teeth. It's Lily, and her name is Lily, and she's currently in her room. Courtney's back was suddenly turned to him, and she did so with a frown engraved on her face. What exactly is that? "You have a lady who lives with you?" "Let me get this straight: you did hear what I said, right?" The man rolled his eyes in a bored way. Have you not considered how your acts may influence your girlfriend, who happens to be me? They moaned about it. If I were to tell you that, your response would be "You're not-" "Hi." Lily's hushed voice was the one to break the silence and disturb them. Cameron's gaze flashed up toward the ceiling as soon as Courtney turned to face his female roommate. The realisation that she had overheard Courtney utter the term "girlfriend" caused a flush to spread over her cheeks. "Oh. Hi." Courtney responded with only a few words. "Hello, my name is Lily," the woman said. She went on to say that she was unsure. To be more precise, "Courtney, Cameron's girlfriend." Her attention was completely focused on Lily. It was a pleasure to finally meet you, Courtney. The attempts at a smile were laughable at best. "It's wonderful to have another lady living here. I didn't want to be the lone woman in a bunch of guys, so I tried to avoid that situation. She laughed with the intention of making Courtney feel more at ease. In fact, it was fruitful. "Yea.." The change in her tone of voice. Her response was, "That would be wonderful." She couldn't help but let out a giggling fit of her own. It seems as though the guys are always working together against me, and they never want to carry out what I suggest. When Cameron felt a tightening in his stomach, he realised that something was really wrong. Today was not intended to turn out like this at all. Because he had no interest in the two of them developing a friendship, it was essential that Lily not connect Courtney in any way, shape, or form with him. His curiosity was piqued by Lily's seemingly simple ability to win over the affection and confidence of anybody she came in contact with almost immediately. Whatever the situation, All of the men would be head over heels in love with her. That caused him to scowl, so he went to fetch a beer while the two of them discussed their various interests and what they had planned for the weekend. In the end, he would have to apologise to Lily. He used his delicate fingers to remove the bottle cap in a flash, and then he took the container up to his mouth for a huge drink of the liquid inside. It came to his attention that the door of the refrigerator was ajar, and after looking inside, he realised that they needed to go to the supermarket as soon as possible. "Cameron!" Courtney yelled out from the living room, which was no more than ten feet away. "What?" To put it delicately, he groaned about it. to the extent that "Lily consented to accompany me to that hip new club," etc. She was grinning broadly as she walked into the kitchen, and Lily followed closely behind her. "No." He clenched his teeth and turned his attention to Lily. She could never, ever count on him to give her permission to attend a party on campus. It would be like releasing a rabbit into a den full of lions if you were to send her into a group of men. "No? It is not true that you are her father. Courtney gave him an odd look as she regarded him. You are more than welcome to come along at any time. And a roll of her eyes followed. He groaned again, this time louder. He preferred to drink only in the privacy of his own home or at the house of a close friend. He had no interest in being there, had no desire to dance, and did not give a damn about the mayhem that was going on in the audience. Since Courtney first learned that the restaurant had recently opened, she has been relentless in her pursuit of her goal of getting him to go there. "May I have your attention, Cameron?" His ears were assaulted by the soothing tones of Lily's voice. I solemnly pledge that I will make amends to you in every way that I can. Even though she had a pleasant and childlike tone to her speech, he soon realised that the things she was saying were anything but. He downed more of his beer in an effort to conceal the fervent longing that could be seen in his eyes. It was impossible for him to turn her down at this point.
