Chapter seven

Their connection slid into something more. The subtle touches in the dark,kisses behind closed doors,flares of jealousy and moments that felt like love.for sea,this was everything he hoped for and every moment meant everything to him.

It got to a point,Jason became jealous of every one that came close to sea making everything more complicated.it all started at the beginning of the semester.Jason and sea found it hard to see each other because of their different busy schedules.Jason and his friends were in the engineering courtyard discussing their impending project that is almost due to be submitted.

“Hey solar.are you done with the papers?” Jason asked solar mid discussion while flipping through the stack of papers on the table “you know we need to print it as soon as possible”

“Yes,yes I know.i and Dean will bring it over to Akin’s room this evening”solar said playfully rolling his eyes.hearing his name,Dean raised his head and looked at solar bewildered.

“Seriously man.aren’t you supposed to ask me if I will be available to go with you?” Dean asked solar who just focused on scrolling through his phone ignoring him.after some time,he casually looked up and saw Dean staring at him intensely.

“Was that supposed to be a question?” Solar surprisingly asked raising his eyebrows. Dean rolled his eyes and replied “ of course you dipshit”

“Wow.okay sorry for my manners but was I supposed to ask you before making plans ?” Solar said as he smirked.Dean opened his mouth wide staring at him bemused .Jason and Akin who were quietly observing them,both burst into laughter at Dean’s expression.

“So,any more questions?” Solar asked Dean who simply rolled his eyes and responded with “ no”

“Good.so Akin be expecting us this evening” solar said and Akin simply shakes his head and called out to Jason

“J?”

“Yeah?” Jason responded as he lifts his head from his phone

“I haven’t seen much of sea lately.is he okay?”

“Yeah,sea has practically disappeared “ Dean and solar said.Jason frowned immediately his shoulder drooping

“I don’t know.I guess we’ve been busy these past few weeks.i miss him too but.we talk on phone” Jason said sounding exhausted.

“Oh.you miss him” Dean and solar teased as they laughed akin joining in.

“Of course I miss him.i mean he’s my best friend “

“Wow.best friend?” Dean teasingly asked

“Yes..”Jason said raising his eyebrow

“ alright if you say so” Dean said smiling softly

“Yeah,but I will be going over to his department later to check on him”Jason said

“Oh..alright”

“Would you like to come with?” Jason asked them

“Yeah.lets go” they responded eagerly

“Okay.i need to call and let him know we’re coming” Jason said as he puts a call through to sea.

“Hey?” Jason calls as the voice on the other end responds

“Hey j.what’s wrong?” Sea said from the other end

“Nothing.I wanted to know where you are” Jason asked

“Oh.am at the baseball court,the one behind the architectural building” sea answered

“Okay..”Jason said .hearing a voice calling for sea,he frowned and asked “who’re you with?” Surprised by the tone of Jason’s voice,he softly replied

“I’m with a friend.are you okay?”

“Stay there am coming”Jason said and ended the call.his friends staring at him astonished.

“Alright?” Sea said on the other side looking confused.
