Camila's POV
As we got home, I was so excited. I finally had friends, and we were doing stuff together like friends do. It was so cool and it hadn't even happened yet!
Once we got home, I went straight to my room and picked through the few clothes I had for my best outfit.
I didn't leave my room after I picked out an outfit. I would've, but I could tell that Lauren was having another bad day, and I had no idea what to do about that. I felt like there was no way I could help her.
Staying in my room all night wasn't so bad. I thought about all the great things that could happen at Selena's house, I got some homework done, and I sang a bit to some of the songs I had learned from my new friends.
Before our parents had left, they always told Lauren and I that we had amazing voices. We would sing together for them all the time.
Yet after they had left, I never wanted to sing. It reminded me too much of them. The only time I would sing was before I met Bryce and we really needed some money, so I sang and we got some.
People probably just felt bad for a seven year old living on the streets, it's not like I was ever any good.
Quickly enough came time for bed. I fell asleep very fast, and woke up with excitement. I finished getting my stuff ready and hurried my sister out the door.
Lauren and I headed to school and got there a little earlier than usual. I went straight to my locker, then saw Harry and Zayn. I took Lauren with me to go and talk to them.
"Hey Harry, hey Zayn," I said cooly as I walked up to them. Harry turned to me and gave me a warm smile. Zayn seemed to be staring at Lauren.
"Did you ask about Saturday?" Harry asked me. "Yes, of course, and I could come. What do you want to do?" I asked. "I'll take you out to lunch, I'll pick you up at your house," he replied. "How about I meet you there?" I suggested. "Sure love," he replied.
"ZAYN! HAZZA BEAR!" Louis roared as he ran up to us, "IT'S FRIDAY!" Louis hugged the guys.
"Oh, hi Lauren, hi Camila," Louis said as he realized that we were there. He hugged us, too.
"Well, we should get going," Lauren said after a moment. Zayn winked at her. Harry smiled at me. We then walked away.
"God, Lauren, can't you see that he likes you? Do something!" I whispered yelled as we walked away."No, he doesn't, no one would like me like that," she murmured.
Vanessa, Ashley, and Selena then walked up to us. Selena came and wrapped her arm around me. "Hey girls, you ready for tonight?" Selena asked with a smile. "Obviously," I replied.
Lauren's POV
I rushed away as Vanessa, Ashley, and Selena came up to us. I didn't want to see them. It was bad enough that I had to spend the night with them.
My cuts were stinging underneath my shirt. I had also cut my arms the previous night, so I was a lot calmer as I rushed off to class.
As I hurried away, I ran into someone. I looked up to see I had run into Ally and Normani. I flushed.
"Sorry," I mumbled as I started to walk away. "Hey wait, gal it's okay," said Ally as she grabbed my arm. I winced.
"Please let go of me," I said. "You're Lauren, right?" Normani asked I nodded. "Well Lauren, are you okay?" Ally asked. "What do you care? My friends hate you, wouldn't you hate me, too?" I demanded.
"You know, Ashley used to be friends with us," Ally said as she let me go. "We're always here to talk. I could tell you're broken," Normani said.
Not knowing what to do, I hurried away. I couldn't deal with this now. I continued to hurry until I got into class and took my seat. I then pulled out my book for English that I had to read but I was too busy cutting to read it.
"Hey Lauren, what's up? You excited for tonight?" Demi asked as she sat next to me, snapping me out of my reading. "Yeah, you?" I lied. "Yup, I absolutely can't wait," she replied.
Thankfully, I was saved by the bell. It was odd to think that I would rather have been having a class then talking to Demi or the other girls.
For the first few classes, I managed to avoid everyone. It wasn't easy, yet I didn't have to talk to anyone.
Unfortunately, lunch came around, and I had to sit with all of the girls. Louis, Liam, Harry, Niall, and Zayn joined our table that day, which wasn't any better.
Zayn sat next to me and tried to talk to me the entire lunch period. I could tell that he was hitting on me, anybody could. Yet I really didn't need to start liking someone. It was hard enough to do my job as it was, I didn't need to start liking someone. It would only make things worse.
Lunch was coming to an end when I really had to go to the bathroom and try not to cut. I managed to slip away from everyone and head to the bathroom alone.
Once I made it to the bathroom, I made sure that no one was there. Since I didn't see anyone, I rolled up my sleeves and began to cry.
Everything just felt so gut wrenching horrible. The weekend was just going to be so horrible, and the rest of my life was going to be horrible, and I just didn't want to live anymore.
Suddenly, the door burst open. Ally, Normani, and Dinah walked in. "Hey dawg, you okay?" Dinah asked. I wiped my tears and nodded.
"I should get going. Bye," I said as I started to leave. "Oh my god, Ally, Dinah, look at her arms," Normani said in shock as she held onto my shoulder.
"Get off me," I murmured. "Lauren, I know we're not friends, but we want to help you," Ally said. "No. I hate you. Get away!" I shouted as I pulled down my sleeves and left.
Camz met me outside the bathroom. "Are you okay, sis?" Camz asked. "Yes, I'm good. Come on, we have to go to class and then head to Selena's house," I told her as I plastered on a fake smile.
Obviously I wasn't about to make my sister sad, even if it made me feel worse.
Camila's POV
I could tell Lauren wasn't okay; it was obvious. Yet she didn't want to talk about it, so I hugged her and walked with her to my class.
"Boo, I'll see you after school," I told Lauren as I kissed her cheek. "Yeah, I'll see you after class," she replied, then left.
Selena walked up to me as Lauren left. "Hey Camila," Selena smiled. "Hey," I smiled back. We went to go take our seats together.
"You excited for later?" Selena asked me as we sat down. "Yes! Of course!" I exclaimed.
The bell for class then rang. I couldn't pay much attention I was just so excited for the party.
