Demi's POV "Demi, please hurry," Ally urged after a moment. I looked between her and best friend's body. I always thought that dead people would look so peaceful, but Selena looked like she had been brutally murdered. I was grasping onto her hand so tightly that I could almost feel a pulse. She probably even still had a pulse, but it was just too weak to be caught by the monitors. The back of my mind was shouting at me that Selena was still in that body, and she was still fighting as hard as she could. Although, the logical side of my brain kept telling me that she was dead, and she had been dead for almost ten minutes, maybe even spiritually dead beforehand, yet only physically dead when the doctor unplugged her.
