Camila's POV
Frustration was coursing through me. I hated the life I had with Bryce and Geoffrey and Oscar and everyone else I was a s*x toy for. i wished none of this had happened.
I wasn't mad at my parents for leaving, I was mad at my parents for not making sure we'd be okay without them. They could've put us into foster care, or maybe left us with an aunt or an uncle. Instead, my sister and I had to live on the streets for years because there weren't any foster parents who wanted us and we didn't know any family, until Bryce and Geoffrey found us.
Yet in a way, all of this made both Lauren and I stronger. We were both more independent, and as sisters we became much closer.
My thoughts were interrupted when I realized that I had to get ready for our appointment. After our appointment, I knew we'd have to go on the streets and look for more customers. I just hoped we wouldn't get anyone too mean or violent.
Too quickly, it was time to head to Oscar's. Lauren was now calmer than before, but we both weren't in a good mood. Anyhow, we headed to Oscar's house to do our job.
Oscar was having a good trip with his drugs that day, so he was kinder to my sister and I. Also, I managed to steal some extra money from him while he wasn't looking.
Gratefully, the afternoon came to an end and Lauren and I got to leave. We then headed to a busy street downtown and looked for people to start hitting on. After a while, we found a group of guys that might be willing to have a good time.
Lauren went up to the group and started talking to them. I was going to follow her when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see that it was Harry.
"Hey Camila," he said with a charming smile. "Hey," I replied. We had some small chat before he asked, "I know you're busy and all, but I was wondering, would you like to go out with me on another date?" I nodded. "Sure, that would be nice," I told him. Lauren came up to me then, giving me a nod, meaning that we were going to go with the group of guys to their place.
Ally's POV
I made some soup for my grandfather and I for lunch. I sat on the couch next to him as I gave him his bowl.
He was having a good day that day. He was awake, sitting up, able to hold his own bowl, and even able to somewhat talk.
"What's on your mind, Ally?" my grandfather asked as I ate in silence. His low voice brought me out of my thoughts. "Just about this person I like, and you," I replied.
My grandfather pat the space next to him, telling me to sit next to him. I did as such and he wrapped his arm around me. "First, you don't need to worry about me so much," he started. "But you could-" I began to interrupt him, but he interrupted me, "But nothing. I've lived a long life. I don't want you to be moping around about mine when you should be having the time of yours."
Not knowing what else to do, I nodded. "Now, who is this person you like? Is it Troy?" he questioned. "Don't tell anyone, but I don't think I really like him that much. He's nice, really, but he's not so much my type," I replied. "Well then who is it?" he asked.
Of course, I hadn't told anyone about me liking Lauren, but I felt as though I could trust my grandfather. "Don't get mad, but I like a girl from school," I said shyly. "Well that's perfectly okay. Whether it's a boy or a girl, anyone would be lucky to have a ball of sunshine like you in their lives," my grandfather replied with a smile. He then kissed my head softly.
Suddenly we were interrupted by my phone buzzing. I went to check it to see that I had a text from Normani. "Hey, do you want to go shopping with Dinah and I?" I read her text aloud.
"You should go," my grandfather whispered, clearly getting tired. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded. "But who will take care of you? Mom and Dad are out for the weekend," I hurried. "I'll be fine, go have fun," he mumbled as he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Before anything else, I kissed his forehead. Afterwards, I hurried out the door and headed towards Normani's house.
Normani and Dinah were waiting for me when I got there. I was glad that I had them as friends, I really was.
Girls day started at the mall. We then headed to the spa and got our nails done. While we were doing this, Dinah asked, "How about you dawgs sleep over tonight?" Normani agreed right away, but I was unsure.
"Come on, it'll be fun," Dinah insisted. "Okay fine," I said with a smile. "Alright!" Normani exclaimed.
Selena's POV
Movies were so hard to choose from! I had picked out so many that I had just decided to take them all! I had in my hands the following movies: Mean Girls, Mean Girls 2, Paranormal Activity, Hunger Games, Fun Size, and Pitch Perfect.
Vibrations came from my pocket. I took out my phone to see that Miley had texted me. "Hey, what are you doing today?" she asked. I ignored her text, since of course I was mad at her for what she did to Demi. I was going to give her a chat later.
I started to go and find Demi when she ran up to me. "Hey, what's up?" she asked loudly, as if trying to distract me from something. "I'm good, now let's go pay," I replied with a little smile. I began to start walking towards the cash register.
Demi stood in front of me, blocking my path. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Nothing," Demi replied. "Okay, then move," I told her. "I'm good," she replied with a smile.
After a bit of struggling, I got past Demi to see something that I thought I wouldn't see. I didn't even think it was possible.
