I stood on top of a make-shift dais and looked down on the horde of the converged elves. Our initial number was exactly three hundred and fifty eight, if you counted only the student elves. The new elves that joined us numbered slightly over two hundred making our number five hundred and sixty or so. That was the highest number of student elves the school has ever hosted, and I was their leader. Unlike the elementalists, witches, shifters and the vampires, our kind rarely existed in the real human world. Our home was on a different dimension from the earth, it was more of the planet’s doppelganger but on the same galaxy.
