As she lunged towards him, her sword gleaming in the afternoon sun, Alpha Jared simply laughed heartily, his eyes flashing with amusement. In a swift movement, he stepped towards her, easily disarming her and tossing her sword aside. Lyra let out an exasperated huff and shook her head, feeling both frustrated and impressed by her opponent's skills. Alpha Jared was known throughout their pack as one of the strongest and most skilled fighters, and it was clear why. "Come on, Lyra," he taunted, his voice dripping with teasing. "You can do better than that." Lyra clenched her fists and charged at him again, determined to at least land one hit. But once again, Alpha Jared was ready for her, easily dodging her attack and grabbing her from behind in a playful embrace. "Admit it, you're no match for me," he whispered into her ear, sending shivers down her spine. Lyra couldn't help but let out a small smile. Despite his arrogant demeanor, she couldn't deny the undeniable chemistry between them. But she also couldn't let him win that easily. "We'll see about that," she said through gritted teeth, breaking out of his hold and lunging at him once more. This time, she landed a solid blow to his side, causing him to stumble back in surprise. Alpha Jared's eyes widened in shock before they lit up with excitement. "Now that's what I'm talking about!" he exclaimed, his competitive spirit reignited. And so the two continued to spar, their swords clashing and their laughter filling the training grounds, until the sun began to "You're no match for me, little wolf," he said with a smirk, pushing her to the ground. "You should learn your place."
