Chapter Two/Trip To Hawaii (2)

My heart was beating in my chest like it was gonna pull out of it. I felt frightened at the at the thought of seeing Colton again after two years.

While the benefactor Austin is there sleeping like a log. He looked calm like the ocean and I couldn't help but stare, in one sharp motion I woke him up.

"Hey?! What was that for? I thought we were friends not enemies!"Austin said.

" Could you quit complaining already? I'm under a lot of stress right now, you have no right to sleep!"

" Okay, whY?!" Austin asked frustratingly.

"Do you remember our love story? I need you to be as convincing as possible."

" Yeah.. Yeah.. I Kno-" Austin said.

"No you don't! We were just friends untill we started liking each orther slowly."

" Yes, you've told me a million times already!"Austin said.

" This is a big thing and ... I don't wanna ruin it, I want everything to be perfect." I said. Austin put his huge hand on top of mine, as if to comfort me...

" Now can I sleep?" He asked.

What was I thinking? This goofy bag can never be sweet.

We arrived towards the evening.

After fetching Pepper from the pets plane, we three left for the hotel.

"I'm sorry there's nothing I can do, you're at the bottom of the list so all the suites are reserved." The receptionist, a friendly black skinned woman said.

"I'm sorry what?!"

* Rising Anger *

"There must be something you can do!"

" Yes, we have an extra room that we don't usually give to anyone.. It's more like the staff room, but even the staff can't stay there anymore I'm sure you can manage right?"the receptionist said.

" Hell, yeah, I can't manage! Even the staff can't!"

" That's all we have left ma'am" the receptionist said.

I felt my blood boil. I wasn't about to let this stupid situation ruin my day!

" I'll handle this, shortie." Austin said and pushed me to the side, he exchanged a few words with the receptionist.

She blushed and giggle like an i***t, I can't believe that i***t is flirting right now. Well, they fit, when two idiots come together they give birth to even bigger idiots. Ah-Ha! I just made a scientific breakthrough!!

" Ok, you're in luck ma'am" the receptionist said breaking my train of thoughts. She took a brief phone call and then beamed at me,"The Presidential suite is now open, do you want to take it?"

"Do I?! Ofc!"

Wait... What magic did Austin do?

"We don't usually give it to anyone, but since it's your anniversary, I'll give it to you for free."The receptionist said and winked at me.

Our anniversary? What the hell did that i***t tell her?

" What?! The presidential suite is non vacated?" Amelia (the bride)

*Noticing them "*

"My.. my, u're beautiful! Who do we have here? Welcome to my wedding!" Amelia said looKing at Pepper fondly.

" Hello, I'm Zoe, and this is my Kitty cat Pepper. Are you the bride?"

" Yass! welcome Pepper, welcome Zoe your cat is beautiful gracias,merci !!"Amelia said.

" You speak French too?"

" Yes(to the receptionist) Is the presidential suite open, we asked for it n' you said it was full!" Amelia said.

"It was.. I'm now giving it to this lovely couple." the receptionist said.

Colton looked shocked and turns paper white.

" Zoe.. it's you?" Colton asked. And Austin?" he said Austin's name like he was spitting on it.

"Yes, it is I... Pepper and ofc Austin."

" I didn't know you would come." Colton said.

" I love your cat, I love cats!" Amelia said.

I made it seem like I didn't care about what he said where as I feel like crying.

" Okay.."

"you both are now together?" Colton asked, I nodded.

" you two seem compatible, I'm sure you'll get married soon please don't forget to invite me" Amelia said, "we'll come right honey?

Colton nodded dumbstruck.

"Have a nice time, don't forget to not be late for dinner."Amelia said and left with Colton.

IN THE ROOM

" Wow! that receptionist wasn't exaggerating when she said this room is nice"

" Nice?! This is wonderful!" Austin said.

" I can't wait to see Colton's face once we tell them our love story."

" You know what's even better? This rot has only one bed." He pulled me closer and grabbed my waist vigorously. His gaze left my eyes and fell my lips.

My heart beat raced faster but I didn't know why, he had this look on his face. The same way he looked at one of his victims.

"Are you flirting with me? Your charms don't work on me so don't even try it."

" I was surprised when you didn't cry and remain composed after you didn't see Colton after two years" Austin said.

" Let's just say, it's not worth while." I said and hoped into the shower . I Couldn't help but notice Austin's smug smile. That stupid grin appeared on his face.
