Chapter Three/ Is He Jealous?

After taking a bath.
Amelia would dress up so, I need to look good too, *Sigh* No need, I'll just wear this.
I picked a casual but fashionable outfit.
"Okay, let's go."
"I'm starving...!! "Austin said.
Austin and I sat at the huge dining table, I couldn't bring myself to eat anything
I could feel Colton's sharp gaze on me.
You were probably expecting a table full of people? Wrong! It was just me, Austin, Pepper, and the marrying couple, that's because we came earlier. I sat in akward silence.
"Is the food not good enough to your liking?" Amelia asked.
"What.. Of course not! The food is great, it's ..." I could not get the word out of my mouth.
" My girlfriend here is allergic to sea food." Austin said.
"But Zoe loves sea food." Colton said.
" Used to, Zoe used to love sea food but now she's allergic." Austin replied.
"That's ok, now that I know your preferences I'll do better next time." Amelia said. Such a lovely woman filled with elegance.
"That's okay.."
"So tell me, how did you guys get to know each other?" Amelia asked.
"I thought you were friends." Colton said.
" The verbal term here is 'used to' we used to be friends but i started liking her... Alot of things have changed, I mean, what's there not to like.."
I suddenly felt butterflies in my stomach.
" Her eyes..her sparkling clear blue eyes I feel at ease everytime I look at them, it's beautiful like ice clear blue ocean with a glint of emerald. I couldn't help it, I fell deeper into the ocean.I'm drowning in them.." He looked at me lovingly.
He leaned in a bit closer and his breath burned my skin.
I could swear he was about to kiss me. My heart skipped a beat but I managed to breathe. For a moment it felt all real, it felt like it came from his heart, like it was really real.
"Ahem..!" Amelia made him pull away in the speed of light. " Aww, it's like one of those stories I read... That's so cute, two friends who fell deeply in love.",
I could swear I saw a tear in Amelia's eyes. Damn, Austin should quit working at that tech and become an actor because that was very convincing. Colton couldn't get a word out.
This guy deserves an Oscar for best actor in California, cause he's good!. He convinced me that we're together for REAL!
Austin did it! He made it as convincing as possible, thanks dude.
" Well Colton and my story is not as exciting as that." Amelia said, a slight down cast disappointment in her voice.
"we'd like to hear it, don't we.. Pepper?"
"Meeeoooww" Pepper said and continued eating her fish.
" Well that's a yes."
"I'm sorry I don't want to bore you with my story." Amelia said, "But hey, how was your first kiss?"
* Feeling akward *
" Uhhh.... Magical emmm."
" I want you both to kiss." Amelia said.
"WHAT?!"
Austin and i said in unison.
"Oh c'mon, I wanna feel like I was there, I love your story so much, just imagining it is not enough, I want you to kiss so it will feel like I was there !" Amelia squealed." Don't we Pepper?"
Pepper nodded meowing. My own cat has betrayed me, I can't believe this.
"Maybe that was a bit too convincing?"
"Damn me.." He whispered.
"You don't have to do it, we can find an excuse."
"I I don't mind.I want to." Austin replied to my surprise.
" You do..?"
"Yes." He leaned in closer. His gaze left my eyes and fell on my lips, he had this peculiar aura that I didn't understand.
"STOP I DON'T WANNA SEE THAT !!" Colton literally screamed at us to stop. I was startked and we pulled away almost immediately.
"Aw man, c'mon! You're making them uncomfortable what's wrong with you honey?"Amelia asked disappointed.
I tried to hide a triumphant smile from creeping into my face.
Colton couldn't get a word out. He himself didn't know why he did what he did, but I know.. I know very well...
At The SUITE.
"Nice save Austin, where did you browse up that pick up line, check out this one. 'Is there an airport near by? Because I think my hearth is taking off." He rolled his eyes.
"Did you notice Colton's face instantly turned sour when Amelia asked us to kiss?." Austin said
" Yeah. It was quite unsettling, i I'm still thinking he's not over me, well he should because I hate him. I really rubbed it in his face, didn't I?" I said, " I'll make him so jealous."
" What would you gain?" Austin asked. His words felt like a dagger piercing to my chest. It hurts.
" I.. I dunno."I shrugged. " I'll think about it later.
"Well that's a YOU problem." replied Austin." I'll go to bed now, Good night shortie."
I also felt tired. Austin slept on the couch while I took the bed.
The next day,
"s**t ! I forgot my clothes." I rushed out of the bathroom. Suddenly I crashed to what felt like rocks my head instantly started to spin and I fell down on top of him. My hands rested on his bare torso, his chest moving up and down in rythm.
"It must be comfy huh?" Austin suddenly asked. I then realized I had been staring for too long and made no attempt to stand up.
"W-What?"
"My chest, it must be so comfy." He bragged. I rolled my eyes.
Just as I was about to get up, I fell face down on his chest.
"See? Comfy.." He had a playful glint his eyes and a smile I wanted to rip off his face.
I stood up and helped him up. I couldn't help but checking him out. His light- dark golden skin was plastered with a heart shaped tattoo all over his chest and an arm. He was in nothing but a towel hanging loosely on his waist.
"Are you done?" he asked. I then realized I had been staring for too long.
"Don't bring your hopes up, I did not just check you out"
"I never said you did." Austin replied. Busted!
I rolled my eyes.
