Chapter 7

He was taken aback when he heard me throwing some insults at his Alpha. He blinked his eyes like he was trying to say to himself that he truly heard me belittling his Alpha. Slowly, his expression turned severe before he cleared his throat.

Beta Yves was such a nobleman. He always in his a serious expression but I was a friend of his. He didn't think twice to accept me as a member of this pack when I was a rogue. However, it wouldn't change the fact he tolerated Alpha Eric's stupid decision. It was disappointing at first because I felt he was honest and would do the right thing whatever might happen.

Perhaps I only assumed he was the righteous Beta. He would still choose Alpha Eric over me. I understood because Alpha Eric was his childhood friend, he was the one who knew him more well than me.

“What are you talking about, Luna Savannah? Are you accusing my Alpha of having an affair?” His tone was deep and brutal. It seemed he disliked I was defaming his Alpha Eric.

“Accuse? Beta Yves, I'm not accusing anyone here. Let's be honest, you see him f*****g Rianna yet you never told me, right?” I grinned to hide my resentment towards him. I remembered the day he told me everything, and he had the guts to act like we were still friends after he betrayed me.

His eyes widened, they almost popped out when I took the knife and then tossed it in the red spot. I was furious because he made me stupid. He was the one I always had talked with whenever I had a feeling Alpha Eric was sleeping with another woman. He always corrected me, assuring me he would do anything to prevent his stupid Alpha from having an affair.

“How did you know about it? I'm trying to gain some evidence...” He was hesitant and sad when he spoke those words. Guilt was evident in his face but he managed to hide it from me. “I'm planning to tell you everything.”

“Really? You're with them whenever he's visiting her. What makes you think I will believe you have the plan to inform me about it, Beta Yves?” I couldn't stop being sarcastic to him. He bowed his head before he sighed.

“I have a plan to tell you. I'm trying to make sure he's cheating---”

“He's f*****g her behind my back. It means he's cheating on me yet you're still confused if he's the one who f**k her? Beta Yves, you disappointed me and I don't think I can trust you again.” My words became harsh, making him stilled as of the moment. I glared at him before I crossed my arms onto my chest.

“Whatever your reasons. I don't want to hear them. It's painful to know there's someone who isn't treating me the same way I treated them. You're like a brother to me. You're the one who knows my pain when I was a rogue. You're the one who comforted me whenever I was in pain yet you still betrayed me.” I added. I gasped when I felt my tears wanted to betray me. They formed in my eyes, giving me an itch to make me close my eyes.

The intense feeling I had in my chest came out. I wanted to outburst my anger on him. I wanted him to think he didn't do the right thing.

“Savannah, all I want is to protect you. I do everything to prevent you from hurting even though I'm the one who's suffering in the end. You don't know anything, and you can't even see my efforts to be with you facing the darkness.” he rebutted. His eyes turned bloodshot and he swallowed like he was in pain.

“I was the one who's with you whenever you need your husband yet you don't see it. You're right, I know everything because I caught your husband sleeping with her. I don't tell you about it because I know you will be hurt----”

“Shut the f**k up, Beta Yves. You're trying to use me as a reason so you won't feel any guilt for betraying me. Sadly, it won't affect me. I already know I can't trust someone here. I do everything to be accepted by this pack but they still don't like me because I'm only a rogue!” I gritted my teeth before I wiped my tears from flowing down my cheek. I wanted to slap him.

“I'm telling you the truth.” His voice cracked and it was the first time I saw him like he was in pain. He avoided my gaze before he gave me a fake laugh. “You can't see it because it's Alpha Eric you always see. Savannah, you aren't the only one who's in misery.”

I couldn't understand what he was trying to say to me. Or maybe, I did not comprehend because I was afraid to think I was the one who caused pain to him. I was in denial.

I did everything to become the suitable Luna for Alpha Eric because he was the one who saved me. I didn't want to disappoint him and that was the reason why I was desperate to be accepted by this pack. Because of frantic to be an outcast again, I didn't see those people who were backstabbing me secretly.

Beta Yves left me alone in the training ground. I only watched him walk away from me and I didn't bother to stop him. If he was hurt then we were quits but still, I was mad at him.

I was the one who trained myself more. I didn't want to be the weak and stupid Luna like what happened to me in the past.

When I came back to the pack house, I saw Alpha Eric drinking a cup of tea while Rianna was massaging his shoulder. This dumb b***h had a lot of itchiness in her p***y but I didn't mind.

I wasn't hurt to see them but I wanted to laugh at them. Alpha Eric acted like he didn't like what I had said but seeing how he became calm with Rianna made me think his ego was only crushed by me.

“L-Luna..” Rianna called me, making me stop from walking upstairs. I turned my back to face her and I saw Alpha Eric was scowling at me. “Are you mad to see me with Alpha Eric? I'm trying to calm him down because he's mad at you.”

“Rianna, you don't need to explain your---” Alpha Eric wanted to butt in but I didn't let him finish his words.

“I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing, Rianna. I know how thirsty you are for his d**k, and that's why I don't mind if you will taste it.” I smirked when I saw how she gave me a death stare, indicating she didn't like what I had told her. I wanted to provoke her until she finally revealed her true colors.

“Savannah!” Alpha Eric shouted my name like he was stopping me from fighting with his mistress.

“Alpha Eric, why don't you start banging her p***y? She seems in heat. Please, don't be too loud because I want to have a peaceful sleep.” I said with mockery. Alpha Eric's eyes became red, he rushed towards me and then held my hand. I bit my tongue to prevent myself from wincing because of how harsh he held me. f**k him.

“You're too proud! Do you have another man that's why you're acting like this?” He growled. Rianna gave me an evil smirk but it wiped out when she caught me looking at her.

“I don't need an asshole man to fight with you, Alpha Eric. I'm not like you. But, I still want to have a lover. Is it a little bit unfair on my part if you're enjoying yourself with your mistress? I want to have a man who will make me enjoy my bed.”

“Savannah, stop provoking me! Damn it!”
