I still can't believe that I was actually with my mother again! I knew that it would take some time to get used to this but, right now I was more concerned about my mate! "Can you all come with me? I need to get back to my mate." I was becoming more anxious by the passing minute.
I watched as my dad finally stood up. "I'm right behind you son." He then looked at his mate. "Nat, I know that we have a lot to discuss, but I feel that it can wait until after we know that Rae will be okay."
I looked at my mother and saw the tenderness in her eyes. "I agree with you, Thane, we do have a lot to discuss, but yes, that can wait until later." She then nodded towards me. "Lead the way, son. I, for one, can't wait to meet my future daughter-in-law!" I then looked at Maxim.
