SANDRA

It's a Saturday morning. Mr. Johnson, a man in his early forties, was watching a movie. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Mr. Johnson opened the door, only to see Sandra, Rose's best friend. She then told him she was here for Rose, so he let her into his home—a mansion with beautiful sofas, a TV with his favorite movie showing—and then offered her fruits. She refused them, but after a lot of persuading, she finally agreed. So, as she was about to cut the fruits, she remembered the incident that happened years ago, about what Mr. Johnson's brother did to her sister. Then, she held the knife with so much anger, stood up, and stabbed him in cold blood. After stabbing him, she was shaking in fear. Just then, she ran out of the house. Few minutes later, Mrs. Johnson and her daughter came back from shopping, only to ring the doorbell, but no one responded. Then, she decided to knock on the door, and it flew open. Mrs. Johnson and Rose entered the house, surprised and shocked. Then, they froze, surprised to see Mr. Johnson bleeding profusely, lifeless, and...... Sandra got home and started hitting the door like a thief. Her mother, Mrs. Maria, opened the door with a knife, only to see her daughter sweating profusely. So, she let her in and asked what happened. Sandra explained to her, and Mrs. Maria was shocked, hearing that her daughter killed her best friend's father. At Johnson's house, Mr. Johnson didn't survive. Unfortunately, he died on the spot. Mrs. Johnson and her only daughter were crying profusely. The next day, Sandra heard about it and pretended to just have found out. Sandra didn't go to school because of Rose. CHAPTER 2 HIDDEN TRUTH Three months later, Mr. Johnson was buried, and everyone was present at the funeral. While everyone was sad, Sandra was busy with her phone with earpods. Then, her mother angrily collected her phone from her. After the funeral, Rose and Sandra resumed back to school. When they got to school, Rose asked Sandra: Rose: Sandra, why did you not go to school for three months? Instead, you stayed with me when you lost my dad. (She asked suspiciously.) Sandra: I don't understand. What type of a question is that? What are friends for? Rose: Okay, then. I will try to believe. Sandra: That reminds me. We are having a test next week, so please borrow me your note. I came to your house on Saturday and met your dad. He told me you and your mom were..... (Then she remembered she was about to confess to Rose, so she kept quiet.) Rose: Wait! Wait! Were you at my house on Saturday? Sandra: Uhm, why that question? (She asked arrogantly.) Rose: My dad died on Saturday, and you were around. Why didn't you take him to the hospital? You let him die. You killed my dad. You are a wicked friend. (She said in tears.) Sandra: Are you calling me a murderer? Your own friend? The same person you are calling a murderer was the same person that stood by you throughout. You are so ungrateful. Rose: Trust me, I will get to the bottom of this, and if I find out you were the one that killed him, I promise you will not go scot-free. Sandra: Okay, good luck then. God knows I didn't do anything. Rose: You are still mentioning God's name in that case. If you are the one that killed my father and you know you are the one, your mother will die of an accident. And it's a curse, since you are so sure. Sandra: Rose, you cursed me. No problem. I also curse you now that...... (Then Rose cuts her short.) Rose: Get out and curse somewhere else. One more thing: our friendship ends here. (She says and then leaves.) Sandra: (After Rose leaves.) Hope there isn't a camera in their home. CHAPTER 3 AUTOPSY The next day was the day the autopsy test was supposed to be ready, so Mrs. Johnson was going to collect it. But Mrs. Maria got there before her, bribed the officer, and then collected the report. Mrs. Johnson got there, and the officer told her there was no result. So, she went home sadly. Meanwhile, Mrs. Maria had already collected the reports. In the evening, the Williams family had breakfast and went to their various rooms. When Sandra got to hers, she felt like someone was in her room, but she thought she was overthinking, so she went to bed. After a few weeks, Sandra started vomiting 🤮 but thought she was sick or something. A month passed; she was still vomiting and feeling dizzy, so she went to complain to her mom, and they went to the hospital. The doctor told them Sandra was six weeks pregnant. Sandra and her mother were shocked. So, they went to a pastor, and the pastor told them the pregnancy was not spiritual. While Sandra was telling her mother she would abort it, the pastor told her not to try it or she would lose her life. So, Sandra didn't abort it, and they went back home. When they got home, Sandra begged her mother not to tell her father about the pregnancy, so her mom agreed but told her he would still know because she couldn't hide the pregnancy. A few weeks later, Rose and her mother were eating lunch when she told her mother about Sandra's suspicious behavior. Then, Mrs. Johnson said Rose should go to her house, apologize to her, pretend to be her friend again, and then search her house. Rose: Now! Mrs. Johnson: Yes, now. They would probably be all home now, except their dad, so go. Rose: Okay, Mom. Let me just clear the table and then go. Mrs. Johnson: No! No! No! No need. I will do it. Just go. Sandra: (Shocked that Rose could come back and apologize.) Ohh, no problem. I understand. Rose: Thanks for understanding. So, we have a test tomorrow, so I came here to read with you. Sandra: Ohhh, I totally forgot. So, how many subjects? Rose: Just two. So, where is your note? Sandra: It should be in my room. (Then Sandra's mom said:) Mrs. Maria: Sandra, I am going to the market. Why is my mom's bed up? Rose: I wanted to clean everywhere sparkly clean. Sandra: Okayyyy, so that's what made you search my mom's room, right? Rose: Nooo, I didn't search your mom's room. I was just trying to help out. But if you don't want me to tidy this place again, no problem. Sandra: (Noticed she was acting suspicious, so she said.) I'm sorry. I didn't mean to act like that. Rose: No need. I'll just grab my bag and then leave. (Then she starts to leave the room.) Sandra: No, you can go on with what you were doing. Rose: Please don't insist. Sandra: Okay, but I'm sorry. Rose: No problem. (She said sadly but excitedly about what she found, although she didn't know what was in the file, but she knew it was useful.) CHAPTER 5 PREGNANCY RESULTS Mrs. Johnson was folding some clothes when there was a knock on the door, so she opened the door and saw Rose smiling and said: Mrs. Johnson: What's making you so happy, like you won a lottery? Rose: Mom, guess what? (She asked happily.) Mrs. Johnson: What? She killed your dad? Rose: No, I am not sure yet, but I found a file in her mom's room. (Then she brings out the file from Mrs. Maria's room.) Mrs. Johnson: Really? That's my daughter. (Then she opens it and sees a pregnancy result.) Rose: What's in there? Mrs. Johnson: Sandra's pregnancy results. Rose: What? (She says, shocked.) Sandra is pregnant. When? Mrs. Johnson: Six weeks. It's a pity. The girl is just 16 years old. Rose: Yeah, but she didn't tell me. That means there is something behind it. The next day, Sandra was preparing for school when she told her mom: Sandra: Oh, Mom, I just remembered. Mrs. Maria: What?
