**Arun's POV**
At last, I found the best assistant for my friend. He changed seven assistants in seven months. I reached his office.
**Shiva's POV**
I just finished an important meeting. Now I'm exhaustedly leaning back in my chair, my head resting against the back of it. Suddenly, I heard some noise. Someone is entering my office without permission. I heard footsteps. I can tell who it is just by this sound. I don't need to open my eyes to know who that i***t is. He is none other than my friend Narayan. I gave him the important task of finding me an assistant. I want someone who doesn't annoy me.
"Hey man, finally, I have found an assistant for you! That girl is very intelligent," said Arun.
"Again you found a girl. Can't you find a man for the assistant job?" I said, interrupting him.
"Oh, you are terrible. If you were Isha, then men would come to assist you. You are just Shiva. You have to remember that again and again."
What an annoying i***t he is.
"If you weren't my friend, I would have killed you just for mentioning her name, i***t," I said.
"Okay, jokes aside. That girl is very intelligent. Her qualifications are excellent, and she has great communication skills. I think she is very brave," Arun said.
"Brave? I'm going to see how brave she is. Girls are always scared cats," I replied.
Arun's face showed a horrified expression.
"Please don't reject her again. I'm tired of seeing you reject assistants. Please show some kindness," Arun said dramatically.
"If I were Isha, I would shower you with kindness, but I am Shiva," I replied.
"Oh, don't get annoyed, man. Okay, tell me, you just said you love brave girls, right? Isn't she brave?" he asked.
"Brave? My ass. She's a pain in my ass. I said that girl is very heartless, you know? How rude she is. Her father is an MP and a businessman, but she behaves like she is one," I said.
"Obviously, she is the one who is going to take his place, right, Shiva?" Arun said.
"Absolutely, she is the one who is going to take his place. She is not going to create her own path. Then why do these people cherish her? I don't see anything special in her. She is getting all these opportunities just because her father is a businessman and an MP in the current political party. I love self-made people," I replied.
"Your obsession with self-made people is tiring, Shiva. I'm done with you. Okay, your sister will be waiting for me at my house. I'm going. Bye, man," Arun said and left the office.
I looked at my watch; it was now 12:30 a.m. My office is on the 27th floor, and my apartment is on the rooftop of this building. I have to reach the topmost floor. My office is in the tallest building in all of Andhra Pradesh. As soon as I reach the top floor, I go to the terrace. Now I'm standing on the terrace, watching the city. My building is the tallest in the city, and I live on the topmost floor. I have done everything to reach this height. I have engaged in murder, smuggling, everything. People think I reached this height in just eight years, but they don't know the truth. Life has shown me its worst side since I was five. It has never shown me its good side. I have waited my whole life to reach this height.
It took me 17 years to fight back against this world, this fate. I still remember that incident.
**Flashback**
I am a 17-year-old Shiva, working in a tea shop. The shop owner provides us with food, some snacks, tea, and a few 10-rupee notes. That's all I get for working all day. I also receive nasty looks, disgusted looks, teasing looks, and some beatings. At this point, I'm fed up with this world. I feel like I want to beat anyone who comes into my way. I'm tired, but I can beat the s**t out of any man. I'm exhausted from being silent. I've been beaten for no reason since my childhood. I’m punished for no reason. Now it's time for payback. Now I won't go back. It's 4 p.m. now, and the shop owner provides the workers with two vadas and a cup of tea. I am drinking my cup of tea while sitting on a step of the tea shop. At that moment, I saw a man beating my co-worker, who was about to give his tea and vada to his sister. We had never talked to each other, but I knew him. He has a sister, and other than her, he has no one. He takes her life as his responsibility. That man is now snatching the vada and tea from his hand. The boy is pleading with him to give back his tea and vadas, but that man is making fun of him and about to sip the tea. At this point, my rage boiled over, and I went straight to him and beat him. His nose started bleeding, and he lay on the floor. The tea glass broke, and the vadas flew from his hand. I got on top of him and beat his face furiously. Then he became unconscious for a while. At that moment, I took some money from his pocket, went to the counter, placed the money there, bought the change, and put the change back in his pocket.
Then I handed the boy two vadas and a glass of tea and instructed him to give them to his sister. While I was instructing him, suddenly a hand struck my face with force. I stumbled a few steps and fell. At that moment, I tasted something metallic in my mouth. His friends gathered around me and beat the s**t out of me. While someone interrupted them and asked why they were beating a child, I heard him refer to me as a little man. I was annoyed by his words, so I said, "I am not a little man."
Then he replied, "Oh, you are not a little man? You haven't even begun to grow a mustache, and you're saying you are not a little man."
I said, "If I don't have a mustache, that doesn't mean I am a child. Just because these people have mustaches and gang up to beat a man doesn't mean they are grown-ups. If they have guts, let them come one-on-one. Then we will see who is grown-up and who is the little one."
"Okay, who do you want to fight? I'll let you choose," he said. I pointed to a man I really wanted to beat because he was always annoying the employees in our tea shop. He regularly beat the young people working there and snatched their snacks and salaries. Doesn’t he have money? Even if he does, he still snatches others' tea and creates trouble in the shop. So I chose him. The man told him to come forward and fight with me. The fight became serious; we both were bleeding, and no one interrupted the match. In the end, I won. The man lay on the floor, unconscious. At that moment, I heard a clapping sound belonging to the man who told me to fight.
"You won, big man," he said.
At that moment, I felt like I had won something. I thanked him and left. That day, I had no idea that these two people I helped and who helped me would change my life.
"Thanks for helping me," I heard a voice say while I was washing tea glasses. When I turned my face, I saw the boy I had helped. "I am Arun."
"I know your name," I said, interrupting him.
"If you want, you can stay with us in our home. You know, my sister and I are living alone. You can stay with us," he said.
"I don't want your charity," I replied.
"No, don't consider this as charity. Or you can think of it this way: you can stay in our house, and as rent, you can protect us from harmful people," he said.
"I accept your deal," I said.
While we were conversing, the owner urgently called me to prepare tea. While preparing, I noticed my owner bowing down very respectfully. While serving him his tea, I heard him say, "I have no weapon; now you can come inside and meet me," on the phone. "Your tea owner himself checked me terribly; you can ask him, though, if you want," he said. I saw him with a knife beside him on the chair. He was hiding the knife from everyone's eyes, but I noticed it. I took the glasses from other tables to wash them outside. At that moment, I saw that man who arranged the fight coming. I immediately realized he was the person the other man was talking to. So, I quickly stumbled into him to stop him. He got angry when I bumped into him. I signaled with my eyes for him not to go. When he steadied himself, he came closer to me.
At that moment, I told him, "He has a knife. Don’t go."
Then he went back to his car and returned with a gun in his hand. While washing, I heard gunshots from inside. When I looked inside, I saw the man shoot the other man, and the owner was shaking terribly, witnessing the situation. Suddenly, he shot the owner too, then turned his head and looked at me. I thought he was going to shoot me, but to my surprise, he came toward me. I looked at him smugly. Then he suddenly said, "Now you are the owner of this tea shop." After saying this, he left, and I stood there, dumbfounded, looking at the shop.
**Present**
After that incident, we met many times coincidentally and became close. He is like a father to me. Even though I don't know the meaning of the word "father," he is my everything. Now he is the current MP of Amaravati. I am sure he will be the next CM of Andhra Pradesh. I am his right hand. As for Arun, after that incident, we both ran the tea shop successfully and improved our business with the help of our father. Navya became our purpose in life. Navya is Varun's sister, but most of the time, he calls me her brother because she can't get through a day without calling me "Shiva brother." Now we are both striving for her. She is an angel in disguise. Now she is studying MBBS at one of the top universities in India. Even though we are ready to spoil her, she is not ready to be spoiled. She is such a perfect girl. As I described, she's an angel. No one dares to lay an eye on her because they know whose sister she is. They never dare to cross her path because they know she has two brothers who could destroy hell and heaven for her.
Suddenly, a message popped up on my phone screen. When I opened it, I became really irritated. That bastard sent me a message: "Isha dreams." What does he mean by "Isha dreams"? He is so annoying. Why does he always drag her into our conversations? Actually, Isha is the daughter of an MP who is politically important to my father. To strengthen our political strength, my father is thinking of engaging me to Isha. That girl is utterly annoying. Since he learned that information, this i***t has been teasing me with her name. Like fuel to the fire, she always does something to make him tease me even more.
