CHAPTER 2
ENZO'S POV3 Years Ago ~
"You didn't tell me you had a dream journal, Enzo." Alina teased, as she found my old sketch books.
"Alina." I warned, but she only gave me a cheeky smile. Her eyes holding mischief in those crystal blue eyes.
"12th of February, 2009. I dreamt of a -"
"Alina!" I yelled, grabbing the small girl. Trying to gain my book back.
She only let out a loud, hearty laugh. As her eyes shined more then I ever realised before.
I tackled her to the bed, pulling the book out of her hands. Though she was putting up a good fight.
"Wait, Enzo please." She begged, causing me to smirk down at her. My arms around her waist as my other hand held the book above my head.
"Just one more page, I promise I wont read the paragraph underneath. Just let me see your sketches, please." She pouted up at me.
I only chuckled, placing the book on the side table from the bed. While my other hand snaked around her waist. Cuddling into her, as I took in her intoxicating scent.
She only laughed as she gripped on my shirt, wiggling in my hold.
"You're tickling me, Enzo." I only smiled widely to myself.
Present Day ~
"Sir, there's more updates of Mr Anderson's next location." I heard one of my men say. I only nodded, dismissing them from my office.
Placing the book back into my desk draw, until I heard a loud knock. Causing me to drop the book, glaring up at the intruder.
"Well, its defiantly been a while. Huh, old friend." Dante smiled.
"Though, I was expecting. I don't know, maybe a glass of whisky. Or even a hello? Instead you make me errand boy." He chuckled amusingly., sitting down on the other side of me.
"Maybe if you came back on time, as planned." I growled lowly.
"Woah, woah. Its not my fault, truly." He faked surrender.
I glared at him, only for him to laugh.
"Okay, so I guess I got carried away. But hey, Miami girls hit different man." I only scoffed. Turning to grab the book near my feet.
"Just get back into work. And no more delays. "
"You got it, boss man." Dante saluted jokingly.
I pulled the book up, only for it to land on a page I never saw before.
'October 3rd, 2018. I had a dream of you. Don't get any ideas, it was nothing dirty. Though I must admit, you did look very handsome. You were in a house, one I've never seen before. I think my dream had something to do with wanting a home of my own. A home with you, Enzo.'
Tears escaped, falling down on the page. I wiped them away harshly. Touching the words that Alina handwritten.
"Fuck." I clenched my jaw as more tears fell.
Its safe to say i drunk the rest of my day away with my whisky bottle. Reminiscing on her.
