CHAPTER 11 ALINA'S POV Grabbing my coat, I got out of my car. Walking to the secluded restaurant, knowing very well Dante will be here soon with Enzo. They were still tracking me, but thanks to Ace's help, so was I. I knew every move they made. It was amusing really.  Sitting down at a table near the back, I ordered 3 cups of coffee. Smiling as I waited patiently for them to arrive.  I then started to read the daily newspaper. Only to hear 2 people sitting down in front of me, on the other side of the booth. Instead of looking up, I smiled.  "Hello, Dante." I raised my eyes to meet his, as I turned to the side a little. "Enzo." I frowned.  "Here's your 3 coffees, ma'am." The waiter came, placing the drinks before all of us. "You knew." Enzo glared accusingly. Only for Dante to smile proudly. "I had a hunch." I shrugged, sipping on my coffee, placing it down before me. "So, what brings you here." I asked smiling. "Where have you been, Alina." Enzo continued to glare at me. "Seriously? Dead? Fake family at your funeral!" He growled lowly, but I only continued to smile. "You picked up on that, huh?" I smiled. "Where the f**k have you been?! Do you know what it feels like to mourn over someone who isn't even dead!" He continued to yell in a hush tone. I'm guessing it was so we didn't gain attention from other customers. I only sighed heavily, leaning back in my chair. Anyone could see this as me being bored, but really I was annoyed. "Oh, come on Enzo. Don't act so hurt, not when it didn't take long for you to f**k someone else." I smiled, but my eyes held rage. I could sense Dante's awkwardness, as he tried to sip his coffee without gaining our attention. "How-"  "Oh, come on. You think I can arrange a fake death, with a fake family. But I can't find out the w****s you let into our room." I cursed at him, glaring coldly. But Enzo only looked taken back, but then a smirk played on his lips. "Our?" He mocked, his eyes holding mine teasingly. But I only rolled my eyes scoffing at him. "I only came here to let you know to back off. My time is up, I can't continue the time I had with your household." I said, void of emotion as I held my mug. "Time's up? What does that mean?" Dante asked confused. I only lowered my gaze, ashamed to tell them who I am. Being the daughter of Luis Santarino wasn't  something I wanted. Every time people knew that, they kept their distant. Or saw me as a cruel, cold hearted b***h. Someone capable of murdering without remorse. "You'll find out soon, it's only a matter of time before you gain the information." I mumbled in a defeated tone. "If you know we're going to find out eventually, then why not tell us now?" Dante pressured, but I only kept my gaze lowered. ENZO'S POV Her eyes stayed low, as if not having the strength to look at us. I knew there was something she was hiding, but it was as if she did it out of shame more then menacingly. "Dante." I warned, only for Alina to look up at me. Her eyes held pain, but also hopelessness. I wish i could take it all away, but she did just find out I was with another woman not long ago. So, I don't know if she'd let me. "I better get going, my brother is waiting for me." She explained, placing $20 on the table before getting up to leave. Before she could walk past me, I pulled at her forearm. "I will find you, amore." Her eyes held pain, but I don't know if I imagined it. But I swear I saw a faint smile play on her lips. "Bye Dante." Her eyes looked up to see Dante chock on his coffee, waving a hand in the air as he tried to stop coughing. Smiling, her eyes turned down to me. "Enzo." Was all she said before walking out of the restaurant, leaving us behind.
