Cat
CATALINA “Cat.” I scowled at the mere mention of that hideous nickname Sin insisted on calling me, he knew I hated it, which only made him do it more. “Cat.” he called once more. “Don’t call me that!” I screamed back at him. Running towards me, I could see the sand smushing against his toes as his feet pounded down on the sand as he came hurtling towards me. The sweat dripped down his tanned, toned physique, I watched the beads of sweat trickle down his chest slowly as it drizzled delicately onto his muscular, firm stomach, stood mesmerized watching each little droplet of sweat make its way down his athletic muscular physique, he came hurtling towards me, and for a split second I forgot I was supposed to be annoyed at the nickname he’d called me. Just as I was about to give him an earful his hands closed in around my waist, I could feel the warmth from his hands radiate as my body burned with desire at the slightest touch. I held my breath as he lifted me in the air, twirling me around in circles as I giggled like a silly school girl, well I was a silly school girl, but I’d never giggled like one, not like this, not with Sin. I could feel the heat from the sun massage my face as it beamed down in our direction, looking down at him, he had the widest grin on his face, his Sandy, blonde hair swayed with his movements wafting across his face, he looked happy. “Sin, put me down.” I giggled. “Cat, now why would I want to do that?” I scowled at him as he came to a standstill holding me still in the air, penetrating his soft gaze across my face. “I said put me down.” “Such a cute little Cat.” I hit him gently on the chest. “For the last time Sin, that is not my name.” Lowering me onto the ground, he smiled once more, still holding onto my waist, and he brought his face closer to mine. As he moved closer, my breathing became ragged, my heart was racing. This was it, everything I’d fantasized about, I’d often thought about what it would be like to kiss my brother's best friend, slowly he brought his mouth towards me and kissed the tip of my nose ever so gently, I screwed my nose up at him. Nestling his nose into my neck, I could feel his hot breath tickling my skin, inadvertently I let out a slow deep moan, and instantly I felt him go stiff against my skin, bringing his mouth to my ear once more his breath tickled my skin. “You will always be my little kitty cat.” I stood there stiff as his words ran across me, I’d always be his, yeah in my dreams I thought. “Come on, we better be getting you home before Blaine sends out a search party.” I rolled my eyes at him as he took my hand in his pulling me to start walking, he did have a point though my overprotective, neurotic brother would do that, wouldn’t be the first time either. Racing up the stairs to our beach house, I shook my feet furiously before entering the house trying to get the sand to drop away, but my efforts were futile. “Come on, Cat.” “I swear Sin, if you call me that one more time-“ “Don’t tease her.” Blaines deep voice echoed around us. Raising my eyes to meet my brother, I smiled, he had the same icy, blue eyes that I had, Sin said they reminded him of the ocean. “But it’s so easy.” I glared at Sin and pushed past my brother as I entered the house, jogging up the stairs to my room, hearing the laughter between the two friends drown out behind me. Throwing myself on my bed, I finally let out a sigh, that was it wasn’t it, he liked to tease me, nothing more but why would someone like Sin be interested in me, my small frame was like a boys body, there was nothing appealing about my look, it was dull, boring and boyish, Sin probably saw me as one of the boys that he could make fun of and he did frequently at any given opportunity. Closing my eyes, I didn’t even hear him enter the room. “Hey, sis.” slowly opening my eyes, I glanced at Blaine lazily leaning into the doorframe. “Hey.” “So, mum and dad are away this week.” Yeah, tell me something I don’t know, they were never home. “I’m having a party.” I rolled my eyes. Of course, he was and I was banished to my room like every other time he had a party. “I’d like you to come.” I rolled across the bed almost colliding onto the floor. “What did you say?” “I said you could come.” “You are going to allow me to come to your party?” “Yes.” “Where are these people?” Blaine laughed, “Yes.” “Where your untrustworthy friends are?” “Yes, Catalina.” Slowly getting up from the bed, I walked towards Blaine and put my hand on his forehead, scrunching my eyes up. “What are you doing?” “Checking something.” “What?” “Oh, you know, checking for sickness, fever, that sort of thing.” I smiled. “Very funny.” he laughed as he swatted my hand away. “Best behavior, Catalina” “Scouts honor.” I held up two fingers in a peaceful motion. Blaine just nodded at me as he turned and walked away. I waited until he had left before I jumped up and down with glee, Blaine’s parties were legendary, but I was never permitted to go because he didn’t trust his friends around me, well nobody except Sin, but when it came to being protective Sin was nearly as bad as Blaine, I’d never had a boyfriend, between Blaine and Sin they’d make sure I lived my life like a nun which is why the offer of an invitation to his party had shocked me, finally my overprotective brother was loosening the apron strings, and I couldn’t be more elated.
