She gasped softly, biting her lip to stop her chin from trembling.   She nodded, not daring to speak further. She bowed her head in submission, but before walking out the door, she stole a glance at Athena, seated on the bed. Her gaze was cold, but something hidden burned behind her eyes.   Lucian entered.
