The day was finally here, I awoke to the sun shining in my face. The unfamiliar surroundings reminded me I was staying with Kevin. He insisted that since today was my wedding day, I wasn’t supposed to see Xavier until the ceremony. It sounded ridiculous but he practically dragged out of our condo and took me to his place. I heard the banging on the door and his screeching voice.
“Get up, Sarah! You can’t sleep forever. Today is the day where I get to eat your whole buffet table.” He sings. I shake my head at his terrible attempt of teasing and singing. It was like he had a sore throat but didn’t want to believe it. I lifted myself up from my sleeping position and rubbed my eyes. It was only 8:00 a.m. such an ungodly hour to be awake.
“I’m up, I’m up. Stop howling.” I yell in retur
