I took the cosmo that the waiter had graciously handed me and advanced to the chair beside him. Setting my bag down, I faced him, praying I didn't embarrass myself, "Hello," I greeted, taking a sip of my cosmo, trying to look casual. He stared me for a good few seconds, looking like he couldn't believe someone was talking to him. "Umm... don't you know staring is rude?" I asked without thinking. "I think it's legitimate in this situation, when you were the one gaping at me, first of all." He replied, talking for the first time. His voice was smooth, with a hint of huskiness. Up close, his face looked even more stunning, he had grey stormy eyes with tints of green around the iris, his features were striking, high cheekbones, straight nose, kissable lips and a sharp jawline.
I was subconsciously ogling him before realizing that I had to answer him, "I wasn't gaping at you, you just seemed distinctive out of all the people here." I replied, gluing my eyes to my drink instead of gluing them to his features. He smirked and God was it hot, I quickly took another sip of my cosmo, trying to distract myself with the color of the drink. "So who are you? I've never seen you here before, considering that Mayville is a small town."
"I am... I'm Adrian..." He hesitated before continuing "Adrian Blackwood," he repeated, offering a hand to shake.
"Kiara Winters" I said, shaking my hand with his. My breath hitched when our hands touched, ironically, sending a shiver down my spin. Why was I so attracted to this guy? He looked like he was examining my hand like he had never seen a hand before. We pulled away from our awkward handshake.
"Kiara, you have a nice name." he said, gulping down his drink. "Do you live here?" he asked.
"Yeah I'm from around here." I replied straightening my top.
"What brings you here? Assuming you don't live here." I asked.
"I'm here for an, uhh... vacation." he replied.
"Why here though, Mayville doesn't exactly have any tourist attractions."
"I like this town, it's quiet." He replied, tugging his brown locks. I suddenly felt very hot, would it be flirtatious if I took my jacket off? Thinking that it would be suggestive, I fiddled with my hair and gathered them to my left, letting the air cool down my neck.
Adrian was watching my every move, I saw him shifting himself, licking his lips. Was he staring at my neck? What was so erotic about my neck? His eyes trailed down to my chest down my thighs, but he quickly looked away. It was strange how attracted I felt towards him, usually it was extremely hard to turn me on, but with Adrian a look was enough to drive me sexually wild.
"So umm... you're a student?" he asked, trying to shift the air between us. "Yeah, majoring in English." I replied. "What about you?' I asked. "I... take care of my father's business." he replied. He seemed to hesitate a lot before talking.
"You're pretty" he said out of nowhere. "What?" I laughed surprised. "Your brown, chestnut hair, warm chocolate eyes, full lips, glowing skin, You're not pretty, actually. You are the definition of beauty in my book." he said, a dazed look in his eyes. He seemed to say it out of honesty, there was no pretense in his voice.
"Do you say that a lot?" I asked.
"No, I usually don't say anything to anyone at all." He said.
"Well, umm... thanks I guess?" I replied. And before I could even process what was happening he leaned forward and crashed his lips with mine, his lips were soft but powerful, his right hand came up to cup my cheek, while the other one pulled me closer. I reciprocated, my lips moved with his and I let his tongue in as we explored each other, my hands reached his hair tugging them like he was earlier. Our kiss was becoming even more heated as his left hand moved down to my thighs, rubbing them, when suddenly I heard an oh-so-familiar squeal behind me.
"Oh my god K! You're kissing a hot stranger you met in a BAR!" She exclaimed, making sure the whole world heard her exaggerated tone. We both pulled away, out of breath, as I cursed looking behind to see my beautiful but annoying best friend smirking at me.
I eyed her with annoyance but her smirk only grew wider, "Well, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you guys, by the way, YOU are HOT! She declared to Adrian, who looked like he wanted to smile, but his lips refused to. "It's fine." I said, picking up my stuff, getting ready to leave. "What in the world are you doing?" Dianna said, looking at me like I grew a second head. "Kiara you stay, here are my car keys, I'm going home with Jason." She said, handing me the keys. It was then, that I noticed the guy who was staring at her, standing behind her. "But are you-" She cut me off knowing what I was going to say. "Yes I'm sure, I don't think he's an ax murderer and I'll keep my phone on. You have fun with hot boy over here." She winked before hugging me and walking away.
I shook my head in predictable disbelief, before turning back to Adrian. "So..." I drawled, raising an eyebrow, he smiled, a real smile that made my panties melt. He raised his right hand, trailing them down my cheeks, to my neck, to my collarbone, resting on my left breast, over my heart. "I need to have you, I have to be inside you." His voice was raspier than before. I shivered, goosebumps appearing on my skin, definitely not from the weather. "My place?" I suggested. "Sure." he replied, before his lips collided with mine again in desperation, flooding my senses. His mouth was dominating mine, his hands roamed everywhere. I pulled him even more closer, if that was possible, pulling his jacket, "Let's go." I whispered in his ear. His lips moved to my neck, placing a hot kiss there, he replied "Let's go." Holding my hand as we made our way out of the bar.
