Bane of Apdemak

Year 1102, AD.

A new century has arisen and a new life is brought to a boy named Dagor. His fate is to become a mighty wizard like his father, but this can only happen if he pursues it. Dagor must make an oath when he reaches the age of fourteen, to say if he will follow the path of wizardry or choose to go his own ways.

Seeron, Dagor's father, fears he lacks the blood of even a common sorcerer. He barely reads, rarely baths and worst of all, he fights with his own two fists. Dagor likes to be called by his full name... Dagor Azaron, which apparently means 'to battle' but 'Azaron' means 'complex enchanting' according to Old Imperial terms. Seeron eventually decided to call his son Dagor because of his rebellious and unwise temperament The past eleven years has left Dagor the choice to become an apprentice to magic, but not unless he is willing to understand the very basic's first.

By the age of twelve, Dagor was promised he would be told whats has been happening to the Kingdom of Rhine, the most powerful nation from the south, there was an invasion many centuries ago that wiped out just about everything, except off course the ones who created it... The wizards of Faiera kept an extremely dangerous magical energy as a secret... until a rebellion stole the recipe and spread it across the kingdoms. The magic had a name, most call it 'Ember Magic, a powerful spell that can only be created at the time of an eclipse. The greatest threat to the Kingdom of Rhine is still the rebellions, they still possess the magic, and each day it grows more and more dangerous. Nothing is known to stop Ember Magic, except the person controlling it. If Dagor chooses to take his own path, Seeron will still have to teach him how to control Ember Magic, or he will probably end up dead. Will Dagor Azaron try to stop this menace, or will he simply live his own selfish way? And will he persevere? Perhaps he will, but not without the help of a few good friends.
