The city streets were filled with tension as rival gangs from a nearby city clashed in a fierce shootout with the mafia group. Franco, the notorious mafia boss, found himself caught in this crossfire. Their identity is undisclosed and nobody knows what might have caused this fight. It's different from the normal rival clashes between the police and gangs, where these groups try to disturb the city with their operations. Bullets flew past him, shattering glass and sending shards flying. Most of his men were shot in the chaos, the cause of such terrifying and heartbreaking chaos was yet to be discovered. Franco's heart pounded in his chest as his loyal men found a cover for him behind a crumbling brick wall, blood dripping from his arm and shoulder. With his back against the wall, Franco weighed his options. It was becoming very bloody and he knew he couldn't stay there for long, the police would soon be swarming the area. The pain in his arm was escalating, and he knew he needed help. Gathering all his strength, his loyal men helped him through a desperate dash towards a nearby road. Luckily enough, they found a car that helped them escape. Franco tried to maintain composure through the pain and loss of blood. Soon he arrived at the hospital where Nurse Elena works and threatened to storm the hospital and cause a commotion if she didn't come out to help him. Summoning his last reserves of energy, he pushed open the hospital doors and threw bottles through the window of the emergency room, nurse Elena's department in particular. Trying to draw the attention of others, she could lose her job if her boss found out she knew him or if she had anything to do with them. Immediately he collapsed to the ground, and the other nurses saw him. The media had sensationalized his criminal exploits and he was already suspected to be involved in the ongoing shootout activities. His men had guns on their trousers and blood stained all over their bodies while helping him on his feet. They were all scared and ran away while Elena had already made use of the distraction to wait outside in her car for them. She was scared and wondered how she would get him to a safe place without being caught by the police. The hospital had already called the police, while Franco and his men rushed out of the hospital premises so they could go to a safer environment. They drove down the road to an uncompleted building where she commenced treatment on him. Franco had lost so much blood and went unconscious. He kept whispering to her ears while she treated him. During their conversation, Franco's cold exterior gradually thawed in her face. He found himself opening up to her, sharing stories from his childhood and the difficult path that led him to a life of crime. As their conversations deepened, she discovered from his story he seemed to have dreams of making a difference in people's lives. They had more in common, they longed for a world where compassion and understanding existed over violence and cruelty. Franco interrupted the conversation, saying! However, it's as if his brain constantly reminds him of who he is, putting him in his place, telling him he's a killer, a dealer, that's who he is, it's where he's from. Who is he to give justification for his actions? An unlikely bond that wasn't expected formed between them. Her heart broke with each word, her voice choked with emotions. She became tense under his deep voice and powerful words. Each word seemed to weave an invisible bond between them, forming an intricate tapestry of understanding and connection. "Elena" groaned sexily with his arms wrapping around her hips. He rested his head on her and brushed his lips against hers. A deep sigh escaped her lips, and she looked away, breaking her gaze. With his grumpy breath, she chuckled and forced herself out of his arms. This was a moment of weakness and emotions she never imagined portraying. As he peeked to look at her with those green eyes, she thought hard for a perfect adjective to describe them better. He was about to say something but she pulled him by his shoulder, trying to adjust his head so he would be comfortable. She looked at him with so much disgust and anger she still had for him. She cursed him inwardly. "I don't see myself having anything to do with him", she murmured to herself. *** Franco's phone rang! He got information that one of his rival gang members and thugs had infiltrated the hospital staff, intent on finishing what they had all started. He discovered Franco's whereabouts and was determined to eliminate him, even if it meant causing chaos within the hospital. Luckily enough, the police arrived at the hospital and scared him away immediately. Helping to protect the patient and loss of innocent lives. Franco's condition had improved, but he was still weak and vulnerable and needed to rest. She couldn't leave him all by himself even though she was done treating his wounds, bruises and placing bandages on the areas where he was shot. Her heart raced as she realized the gravity of the situation. She knew she had to act swiftly to avoid being caught and risking her life. It would be a big risk to remain in the building. She needed to find a way to take him out of the place. Her car was packed outside but she needed assistance to take him downstairs. Franco's muscles and weight weren't one to joke with, she couldn't carry him all by herself. With her family, career, and life at stake, she is left with a difficult decision and a risk to take. She hoped to successfully accomplish this and avoid being doomed for life.
