CAILY
I open my eyes and the first thing I make out are the white walls and a set of eyes looking at me.
“Baby.” He calls but I don’t think I feel the energy to snap or shout at him.
“Why are you here?” I remember the punch and widen my eyes at him.
“How is my baby?”
“Caily…” he starts whispering and it makes me get the feeling that everything is wrong.
“How is my baby?” I’m panicking. I feel empty and I think I know the answer but I need to hear it from him.
“Calm down baby.”
“Don’t tell me to calm down!” I can’t shout. I still don’t have the energy but I think I’m audible enough. This sucker is just evading my question.
“You are upsetting her sir.” A nurse steps in fast and draws the curtains, filling the room with illumination.
“How are you feeling Caily?” She asks.
