Mateing is a pain.

         Hello my name Tearza Light Tryee, I'm 28 year's old. I am a hybrid of a vampire and werewolf. My mother 53 year's old  Emily cheated on her husband Harold, I have a sister named Beth 21 year's old, a brother named Gage 19 year's old. Harold 55 year's old. My mother always told me while alone that I was a mistake child, she regrets not giving me up and saying that I died to 'father' but can't go back and do anything about it now. What mother don't know is, I know who my real father is, his name Darrel Matthew Faygo age 48. Darrel's wife/mate died after giving birth to a happy little boy named Jake Patrick Faygo who is now 9 years old. My family is royal because of my 'father', the king of Fairburn.      I live in my own house that I build north of the castle about 5 mile's. I have two jobs, one is a news paper editor which is a once a week thing, my second job is a home builder five days a week. I know I don't need a job well two, but I like to stay busy. I don't get money from my family even though they are rich. I disowned my mother do to all the lies she tells. when I turned 18 I left home and haven't been back I do write to my siblings but I never get anything back. The town goes all the way around the castle about 3 miles. so if I need to go to store or work I have a walk a head of me that that's fine.      I love to walk even though I have a car and a truck, but I like the feel the wind in my long red hair. The town's people know I'm Princess Tearza but I always tell them just call me Tearza no need for that title princess. I know everyone in town unless someone new moves to town which is kind of rare. My town don't know the truth about why I ran away from home. but they like to see me more then my mother. I never bother to ask why they don't like her, because I have a good guess on that.     Today is like every other day, except that today of all days I'm late so I'm running to town to make it even though I could just teleport my truck or car just outside of town, but today I feel like walking, but I'm late so I run. I make it to work one minute till I have to get busy on a new house for a little three member family. I get there and get ready to put my hard hat on when someone pulls my shirt and asks "Can you please help me I lost my way?" I turn around to find a little girl about 5 year's old crying. I can tell she is a wolf so I ask her "May I borrow your tiger?" She hugs it tight then hand's it to me, "Thank you I will give it right back." I smell it long and deep. I look at her give her back her tiger then grab her hand and start walking toward her family.      After a few blocks I find her mother and father looking for her worried as can be. She runs to her family crying even more. I smile happy I helped them find each other. Her mother looks at me smiles then says "Thank you so much for getting her back to us, I am Vicky Tampo. This is my mate Justin and you already meet Harley." I smile and say "Hi I am Tearza Tyree, it's a pleasure to meet you all, you guys must be the family I am building the house for a few blocks back?" Vicky nods then looks to her mate, he says" Yes I just bought that land for my family." I look at him and smile, "Hope this town is welcoming for you and your family and if there is anything I can do to help you please come talk to me. I do have a question about the house." Vicky and Justin look at each other then back to me, Justin say's "What is it?" I look at Vicky's stomach then back to Justin. "Do you want me to make another bedroom and bathroom for free?" Justin looks from me to his mate then back to me, "What do you mean by another bedroom and bathroom?" I look to Vicky again then I smiled, "I think your mate has something to tell you. So I will just go work on your house." I turn and start to walk away.  An hour later Justin walks up to the fence, I haven't notice him yet because I was working so hard to get the house done as soon as possible. Justin kind of yells to get my attention. "Miss Tearza?" I jump at my name then I walk to the front of the house and find Justin alone there, "You can just call me Tearza you don't have to be so formal."  He looks at me kind of weary. "So is it to late to take you up.." I stop him and say "Nope and already working on adding it for you and your family free of cost." I smile at him. He smile's back and say's "Thank you so much Tearza how can we ever repay you?" I look at him shocked, "No payment. I work to help and keep this town welcoming to all even newborn's." He looked more shocked then I did, "But there must a way to pay you for all that your during for my family." I think for a few minute's, "Okay, fine how about a deal?" He looks surprised then asks "What kind of deal?" I chuckle then walk to him. "The deal is when you and your family get settled in your home, feel free to come to my place and we can get to know each other more, and your kids are more then welcome to hang out for you and your mate to have alone for a date or something. sound like a deal?     Vicky and Harley walk up at that moment. Justin turns and talks to his mate about the deal I said. As a royal wagon goes by I stiffen up and look at the ground then I turn around and get back to work. I tell Lilly 'Well I am not to happy now and I bet who ever is in that wagon is not someone that is going to want to see or talk to me.' Vicky notice's how I reacted to the royal wagon went by so she looks to the wagon and sees a young woman and a young man step out at the store up the road..     I finish the third bedroom when I hear a female voice call me. "Tearza is that you?" I walk to the front of the house again. "Yes may I help..." I look at who it is and see my sister Beth standing there with my brother. They look surprised to see me while my brother says "Tearza what are you doing here? Mother told us that you died a few years ago." My eyes open really wide. "Mother told you two I was died? Well I guess that don't surprise me that much. But no I live kind of near by and work as a house builder." They look at each other then run up to me and hug me tightly. I smile so big to have them hugging me again. Beth is the first to ask "So why haven't you been visiting or writing us sis? I have so much to tell you now that I know you aren't died."      I look at her confused still, "Mother don't like me and kept telling me that I was a mistake child when no one was around, and so much to tell me like what?" She looks me in the eyes and firmly says "I have found my mate and we are getting married next week under the full moon on the mountain side!" I look to my brother "What about you brother?" He looks down and doesn't say a word. I feel bad. "Oh Gage I am sorry but I did write you both every week but I got no letters back." They look at each other then back at me confused.      I think of why that would happen that my letters never got to them, but then I remembered all mail goes through mother. "Mother never let you two get the letters I sent to you both or the few letters to Harold." They both look at me weird. "Tearza it is father not Harold." I forgot they don't know the truth about mother's little mistake, "Well I would love to talk more but I have to get back to work and you two have stuff to do, but I am fine I have a house, food, money, and I am happy as I can be without a mate." They look sad but don't leave. I get worried, " What's wrong?"     A few minutes go by but they still don't leave or talk, "Beth and Gage? What is it? Is there something wrong at home?" Finally Beth answers me, "Well as you know father and mother are getting old, and us three kids need to find out who is going to be the next queen or king in the family." I look really shocked now, "Mother thinks I am died let her think that ok trust me it's for the best right now." I feel a tear drop fall. Gage sees it and wipes it away. "Tearza why are you crying? Is it because mother and father?"  I look at him and smile, "No brother it's not because mother or father. You two are so grown up now, I feel bad because I wasn't there to watch you two grow up."      Beth hug's me one more time then turns to walk away but stops and turns her head and says, " I want you to know that I want you at my wedding Tearza." I smile at her but say " Beth I wish I could be there but mother wouldn't let me be back at the castle." Gage hugs me tightly, "Tearza please come visit us we miss you and father misses you." He let's me go and walks away to the wagon. I yell after them. "I'll think about visiting and going to your wedding Beth. But you both best not say a thing to mother that you saw me or talked to me."     I watch them leave in the wagon after they posted a notice saying, "All welcome to the royal wedding of Princess Beth Kay Tyree and Prince Sebastian Nicolae Fogle of Jacksonville are to marry next Friday under the full moon and matting ceremony to follow the marriage. Please bring a gift for the couple. Signed by the royal family the king Harold and the queen Emily." I know I shouldn't go but it does say everyone and Beth wants me there.      My wolf side says 'Go, we must be there no matter what!" I am shock by my wolf saying such things. I think she knows something that I don't, but I need to finish work then go home to think. I head back to work and get the last bedroom done. I start working on the last bathroom when foot get close then I smell Vicky without looking, "Hi Vicky is there something I can help with?" She reply's "Yes, I was wondering if you know anything about princess Beth?" I smile and say "She likes pictures of horse and butterfly's. But as for her mate I don't know anything about him. I am sorry." Vicky said "Oh well thank you for that information and I dint mean to ask this but are you her sister?" I freeze what I am doing and look at her, "Well kind of, you see she is my half sister do to my mothers lies and some witchcraft." I remember all the lies and everything I was told as I child. I look so very pale from the memory's.      Vicky walks to my side and hugs me like a loving mother would do. "I'm very sorry Tearza." I look at her and smile but my eyes show sadness. "Thank you for that hug I needed it, but now I must finish the bathroom then get home I have a schedule to keep for my nightly routine," I get back to work as Vicky walks back to the living room with her family. I am just about done when I hear little feet running toward me.      I notice not a normal run so I get up fast and walk to the door just in time to see Harley crying and running toward me fast. I ask her, "What's wrong sweetie?" She just points and keeps crying, so I run to the living room in time to see my mother there hold a sword to Vicky and Justin with out looking at me, "Where is that mistake child of mine at I know she is here?" I get mad, "What are you doing mother, I am right here and I am working."     My mother looks at me "Of course your working you little Sl*nt. Outside now!" I walk toward her, "Take that sword a way from them now if you are looking for me, lets go outside mother and talk." She points the way and I lead us outside. We get outside and I get grabbed by two guards and held down and put in the wagon my mother gets in the wagon and tells the driver, "To the castle now." I wait to see if the ride is going to be quiet or is she going to talk to me. I look at my mother wandering what is up her sleeve this time.      I think for a moment then remember she don't know my powers. I use one of my other powers to tell the driver to drive pass the castle in my mind. When my mother notices she yells at the driver "Stop driving now." we stop moving just a few feet pass the castle gate. "Get out of the wagon Tearza!" I jump off the wagon with little to no problem without using the steps on the side, I just stand there as two guards grab my and start walking to the gate. I look at my mother then just keep walking.      We get inside 'father', my brother and sister are waiting for us. Harold asks "Why is she being held by guards she is part of this family not a prisoner Emily?" The guards let me go and I relax. "Now someone tell me what is going on here and why mother was holding a sword to Vicky and Justin Tampo scaring their daughter Harley?" I look to my mother then to King Harold waiting for an answer.      The King Harold looks confused then asked my mother, "What does she mean Emily?" My mother answer "I don't know what she is talking about my handsome king." I roll my eyes more lies great, What else has she been lying about. I use my power to have the guard's that was with my mother to speck the whole truth about what happened at the Tampo's house. The first guard named Ted raised his hand to speck. Harold lets him speak "Your majesty what happened was we got there and Emily asked for my sword so I gave it to her then she told Rob and I to stay outside till Tearza comes out then grab her and get her in the wagon and don't let her move till we got here."      I smile to myself. Mother gasps " I did no such thing." The second guard Rob nods his head but don't say a word. King Harold sighs, "So my queen Emily tell me the truth now!" I kind of jump at my 'father's' tone that he only uses when he needs to. My mother answer, "Yes, what Tearza said is true.. But I didn't know how she would react.." King Harold raised his hand to shut her up. "Queen Emily you must be in the meeting hall in 30 minutes until then go to the bedroom. "Ted Rob and Goose Guard Emily don't let her go anywhere else understand me!?" They all nod and follow Emily to the bedroom.      "Tearza my dear daughter how have you been I tried writing you but I never got no letters back, I have been worried about you and your brother and sister have been too." I look at Harold then my brother and sister. "I never got any letters and I have wrote you three. I can tell you a lot has happen but I still have not meet my mate yet. I have news you all would want to know but first I need some water and you three may want to sit down."      So I told them everything and showed them the proof on what I was saying from my real father to the wizard to the letters to what happened at the Tampo's house that I was building. Harold was really mad at Emily even more now then 20 minutes ago. "Harold I am very sorry I never told you sooner but my mother wouldn't let me to talk to you alone so her dirty little secret's would stay secret's for ever."  Harold looks at Beth and Gage, They looked at him then back to me. Beth spoke first, " I still say you can come to my wedding and I and Gage want you to move back in. But if you still want to live on your own you we understand, just think about it sis we missed you so much." Harold speaks next "You may not be my real daughter but I still see you as my daughter so if you want to move back if you can have your old room back or pick a different room if you like." Gage is last to talk, "Tearza please think about moving back in. And I'm sure father wont mind you still working even after moving back in." I smile and almost cry but say, "I would like to live here again about what about mother, she won't let me back here." Harold laughed "No need to worry about her dearie she is going to be in a lot of trouble in a few minutes." I look at him confused, "Tearza, Beth  and Gage, come with me to the meeting and you all will understand soon."
