I am fighting a losing battle and I feel like giving up everyday, ending everything once and for all, but William has been my life line.
I slowly started using less drugs but the demons in my head took this chance to make their move.
The memories of all the things I went through was slowly consuming my sanity and so far the drugs were the only way I found a relief when things got really bad.
Max has been great.
He has been dealing with everything with me, ever step of the way.
I just stopped a few days after we moved into the apartment and one night after my shift at the club I went home and took a shower before heading to bed.
Max was still at the apartment as he was busy with a schedule for Williams school.
I was just about to sleep when I started having very vivid dreams.
This was one of the oldest dreams.
The night I was r***d.
I could feel the pain, smell the blood and hear my silent screams.
I started trembling and unknown to me my screams were actually not silent.
I was screaming and crying, living through that night for the first time in years.
Luckily Max was still around.
He rushed into my bedroom and lifted me up, I was kicked and screaming as he carried me into the bathroom.
He opened the shower and than wrapped me tightly in his arms before entering into the water.
The water hit me hard, and if it wasn't for Max holding me I would have definitely collapsed.
"Shhhhh.... Im here... Its okay... It over... Celine.. Your safe..."
He said in a soft but reassuring voice.
I immediately grabbed onto him.
My arms tightly squeezing his waist.
Max turned the water of and looked down at me.
His eyes held some much care in them.
We turned around and saw William standing at the door.
He knew I was having nightmares as he was the first to witness it a few years back, before I was deeply involved in drugs.
He smiled as me and max passed him and walked into my room.
Max sat me down and went to put William back to bed.
When he returned her sat down in front of me.
"Are you okay now...?"
I looked at Max.
He seems different lately and in a good way.
He seems more attractive and honestly more gentle than the Max I met with Marshall.
"I'm fine, thanks Max..."
He smiled and patted my head.
"Okay, let me get you some dry clothes and than we can have a glass of wine to calm ur nerves before going to sleep again okay...?"
I just smiled and nodded.
Max returns with a tshirt and a jogger.
He have it to me than walked out and closed the door.
When I was done changing I went to the kitchen.
I was looking at Max as he placed the wine on the counter and reached for the wine glasses on the top shelf.
His shirt lifted up.
He was honestly well built and has a sexy tan.
He was darker compared to Marshall but he was definitely gorgeous.
I kept staring at Max.
A fuzzy warm feeling was bubbling in my chest.
Was I actually falling in love with Max?
Is this what it feels like to fall in love?
Max saw me and smiled.
"Dont look at me like that, you'll make me think you're actually interested in me..."
Max said jokingly
I was caught.
I just laughed it of and than sat next to Max.
He poured me galss of wine and than sat back watching me sip the wine until it was completely gone.
The way Max watched me was making my ears heat up and my body trembled.
I haven't been with anyone after Marshall, so I might be have s*x withdrawal syndrome.
I placed the glass down and got up.
Max followed me to my room.
After tucking me in he was about to leave but I grabbed his hand.
"Max... I know its asking alot but do you think you can sleep here, next to me tonight... Please.."
I asked looking away scared max would reject me.
Surprisingly Max came and laid down besides me.
His arms around my shoulder, my head on his chest, my arms over his waist.
" Celine... No matter what you ask from me.. I will go to hell and back to give it to you... I promise.. I will always be right here..."
He said and kissed the top of my head.
I sigh and slowly sleep starts to overcome me.
"Sweet dreams celine"
Max whispered before I finally fall of to sleep.
