Catherine
Both of us eating in silence was kind of awkward. But I do appreciate that he has brought me some dinner. I know he has questions but he’s not asking, not that I would be much of a help in answering. As the minutes passed on I just can’t stand the silence anymore. I put down my fork and nervously look at him.
“I know you must have questions for me. I’ll try to answer what you must need to know, but I’ll tell you now, I might not be that much help in answering” I say with disappointment in my voice.
“I’m sorry Catherine. I’m just trying to put the pieces together of what happened that day and how you were able to do what you did. I’ve never seen that kind of power before nor have I even heard about it. I’m just trying to help you. It’s obvious those rouges had the intentions of kidnapping you. I just cannot let that happened again.” He replies
I can hear the concern in his voice, it actually makes me happy to know he cares.
“Ask me what you want to know”
“Okay, do you know how those powers came about? I’ve asked your uncle about it and he’s absolutely clueless. He says he’s never seen you shown any kind of powers like that and he’s certain your parents didn’t posses anything like that either.” He questions.
I sighed. “Honestly, I didn’t know I had that kind of power or if it would come to surface again. I just felt this weird but powerful power all over my body when I saw those rouges trying to attack you.” I honestly replied.
He looks at me with with a satisfying smile on his face. He must be glad it came about because of him. Lyric purrs in my head, happy to know it made him happy.
“I’ve got an idea if your interested?” He says with hope in his voice.
“Ohh.. what is this idea?”
“Let’s put you to the test. Let’s see what you can do. I have connections with a good few powerful witches that can also help and test out where your powers come from and what kind you have”
I’m also very interested in knowing. This is exciting.
“Okay I’m in!” I say happily.
