The Hidden Hybrid

Rouge attack. Part 2

Catherine POV

My heart is pounding, all I can think of is how my life ended up like this.

There I was just staring at Tyson, who is demanding the rouges to let me go. I just want to run into Tysons arm.

Why did these rouges want me, I questioned myself.

“ we are special Catherine.” Says my wolf with pride.

“ we are? How?”

“ you will soon find out” she replies.

Tyson POV

How dare these stupid rouges fight against me,

I’m an alpha and on top of that they are trying to take my mate away. We will see about that.

“Let her go and I will not kill every single one of you dirty rouges!” I shouted.

The rouges just stood there not caring of what I just said. F**k this.

Within seconds I shifted back into Titan and lunged towards the rouges. Aware of this the rouges attacked back.

Me and my pack are fighting them off. All my thoughts are just to rescue my mate. She must be so terrified.

As I’m standing face to face with one rouge I can sense a second one circling around me.

The second one tries to leap and bite me in the back. I used full force and kick him with my legs sending him backwards only to lay on the grass wheezing. With that advantage the rouge in front of me bites one of my front legs. I let out a howl in pain.

Catherine POV

Seeing Tyson howl in pain hurts my chest. It angers me that someone would dare hurt Tyson’s wolf.

As rage consumes me I feel this hot overwhelming flash all over my body. My thoughts are going crazy in my mind. Why are they here for me? Is Tyson okay? I need to be with him.

“ STOPPP IT!!!!!!” I roared, shaking the trees and making the birds startled, flying away.

And just like that everyone pauses and looks directly at me.

Something is happening, I’m starting to elevate in the air, my hair becoming more white and shinier. My eyes are glowing bright violet with a golden orb. I can see my whole body glowing white. This powerful energy consumed me, with that I squeezed my eyes shut tight and I roared again louder.

“Ahhhhhhhh... noooo!!” Screamed the rouges as they all burst into flames until they were nothing but ashes on the grass.

Silence. All I hear is silence. I slowly open my eyes and to my surprise I’m still in the air floating. I can feel this new power and it calms me. I concentrated myself to slowly lower my body to touch the ground, and it worked. As I’m grounded I take a look at what happened. Piles and piles or ashes with smoke coming out of them. I can see Tyson now in his human form as well as the other warriors.

“Wow did I do that?” I asked Lyric.

“WE did that” said Lyric.

“But how? Where did this powerful energy come from?”

“Don’t worry Catherine, I will help explain it and do not fear it.”

I closed my eyes, took a deep breathe and exhaled. As I opened them again, I see Tyson. He’s walking towards me slowly, with concern in his eyes and within a minute he standing in front of me with arms open wide. I looked at him and jumped into his arms, hugged him and quietly sob.

He hugs me back and rubs his hands on my back soothing me.

“Its okay darling, your okay, your safe and that what matters. I’m never leaving you out of my sight and always going to be with you.”
