The Beta woke up in the morning, feeling pretty discouraged already. He had arrived the evening before at the hotel, and had wandered around the town for a few hours trying to find any kind of clue, anything that would help him figure out which direction even to go.
He shook off the last traces of sleep and got dressed, so he could go out and get some breakfast. There was a small café close by he discovered yesterday, and he was craving fresh coffee. One step after another, he promised himself, he would try his best and then report back to Alpha Sandro. If he failed, at least he could honestly say that he did everything he could.
