My vision returned as I exploded back to the present, shaking violently and heaving for breath like I'd just ran a marathon. It was like I was in two lives at once, unsure which was real and thrown into another's reality which I had to accept as my own now.
But the emotions I felt, though, were still very much raw and real…like they were new all over again.
Morgan still held me where we had dropped to the living room floor. Our eyes locked as he looked in a similar state to myself having seen everything I had just witnessed.
