This was the first time my mom hadn't greeted me by fussing all over the place. She hadn't jumped out of the car, she hadn't wrapped me up in a huge hug and she hadn't tried to smother me in kisses. If I had been living at home still, dad's dog house would have been all mine; she was obviously still fuming mad with me.
'I don't like mom being angry with us,' my wolf whimpered.
