Chapter 5: Sigma Wolf

Nathan POV

I got up after a long night were I had the same dream several times, over and over again, and everytime it felt more real than the other.

Before I always saw, who I called my "friend" for the way he always acted in a protective way with me, although it was just a dream, I think?.  Sigma Wolf name that just came up in my mind whenever I saw him in dreams, was always looking at me, looking out for me and in some way it made me remember other dreams I use to have when I was younger.

In those moments when I was left alone in this world and did not have anyone else than him.

I never wanted to say anything, I remember once I told my foster mom that I use to hear people talking to me, in my  innocence I thought she would explained what was happening to me, but instead of that they took me away and hospitalize me in a mental facility, to study my behavior.

That's when I learned that some things were better to keep to myself, although there are people like Laura and Gloria which made me feel that they really cared for me.

But I couldn't help it, I could not share those things with them, although many times it hurted the way they look at me, trying to figure out what was happening to me.

I went up stairs to have some breakfast, before heading to open the store.

Laura was already at the table as the others, and the glance she gave me, made me understand that we had an unfinished conversation, she would start back in any moment.

Everybody was speaking at the same time, as usual in our home, Gloria hurrying the smallest ones to be able to take them to school.

I finished breakfast and headed to the store,  Laura followed me and we started to open the iron gates, doors and to start cleaning, before any customer came in.

Then finally Laura said: - Are you going to tell me how did you meet April and Crystal from?

- Crystal?     mmm I guess was April's loud friend.

- OK Laura,  It's no big deal, April is the new cashier at Mr. Green Pharmacy, and yesterday when I went to get my meds, we met.

-  mmmm so you met her yesterday and then coincidentally met last night... Ok I see.... do you like her?

I knew what would happen if I slightly let her know that I did,  so I told her, that she seems as a good person, and that was it.

She did not look like if I could convinced her, but still she change the conversation asking me, if I liked to night out.

I did not even had to answer to that question, the look I gave her, I think was enough.

She laughed and went to fix some of the items on the shelves.

The morning went really smoothed, we attended several clients and since it was Laura´s turn to go to the bank and pay some other family bills, I had time to be by myself.

A little before noon I sat a while and close my eyes, when I hear him again in my head.

This was new for me, I am not only dreaming him or imagining him, but I am also listened to his voice in my head.

Sounded just like a voice I use to hear before, but never thought was Sigma.

There he was, - Hey Big guy!   - Hey Nate Boy!

I was refusing to answer to my own head, I needed to control this confusing situation.

But there he was again; - Nathan its time!

- Time for what? I snapped back

- To Mate!!!

- When I was going to ask him to what!!??

The scent, that beautiful scent hit me, the store door opened and there she was entering, looking directly at me, smiling and I felt flushed, also listening to Sigma all excited in my head, this would really turn me crazy, that if I was not insane already.

She said hi and tried to make me feel like if she did not know that I will be in the store, she ask me for a decorative stuff for her motorcycle and asked for a car part, also said her dad will be needing; and then started to ask about last night.

I felt like if Sigma transferred all his excitement to me and when I gave her the receipt and her change, our hand touch each other and I really felt sparks, I was almost sure she did to.

She kept her eyes directly at mines and when I least expect it, she took my hands into her smaller hands and look straight in my eyes and said:  -Did you feel that?

I smirked and move my hands in a way to get some ease from my confusing excitement and told her I usually get a lot of that after handling the cash register and tried to laugh casually.

She also smiled and then said that the car part that her Dad needed, she really could not explained  which one it really was,  so we decided I will help her going later to her home, since I knew about mechanical job also.

She gave me her telephone number and told me she will be by 6 pm. home since she were leaving the Pharmacy today at 5:30 pm.

She rapidly took advantage that I had come out from behind the counter and gave me a kiss on my cheek before standing in front of me, like if that kiss had meant a lot to her, before she shake out of it and head fast to the door, saying that she will be waiting for me later.

I stand there,  not knowing for how much time, feeling the sting of the sparks she had left on my skin, when she drop that heavenly kiss on my cheek; and trying to control Sigma who was all work up inside of my head, like if he was also feeling those sparks.

- We got to have her... She is our Mate!

I was finally understanding Sigma, but how could that be possible, if I have spoke to other girls who I finded attractive but never felt such thing as the sparks in my head wanted to explode, because of this guy I had in there.

Laura came back while I was trying to figure out this new state of my mind, and also the feelings April woke up in me.

She started speaking of all the people she walk in to and also tried to make me accept to go out one more time with her friends that was planning a weekend at the beach.

But I made myself busy and was grateful when Gloria call her, asking her to go and get the twins, since she was still involve in the lunch making.

After lunch the evening went on very well, but I could not stop thinking in that simple kiss on the cheek that made my world unstabilized and what will happen later when we see each other again.

at 5:30 pm, we close the store and went in the house to have a snack and listen to the twins speak about their fabulous adventures at school.

After I went down to take a fast bath before heading to April's house, I did not want to reach too late, so I hurry and took a cab.

As I reached I only saw her Motorcycle parked at front of the garage, but I thought maybe the car was inside, so went directly to the front door and rang the doorbell.
