Chapter 1: First Day at Work

April POV

Between the sun that was intruding my room beyond the curtains and the alarm on my cell phone, made me slightly groan when I  remembered I had to start working today, as a way to show my parents I was worth for their respect and a little autonomy in my party hours.  

My parents although I knew they love me more than how I felt it sometimes, were most of the time protective since  they felt that behalf their work hours, they felt that they did not spend enough time with we and that they was not always around the time enough to be able to keep me from getting in trouble, which occurs now and then.

Since I was a 19 year old girl in my second year in College, 5 feet 11 inches tall,  Tan brown skin, with hazel bright eyes, brown wavy hair and a nice athletic slim body with some great boobs; it was very easy for me and my partner in crime Crystal Waters my best friend all my life and sister I never had, to cause some commotions once in a while with the guys at College and places where we are a custom to hang out.

Crystal was not so tall as me, but with her 5 feet 7 inches, light skin, green eyes and red hair, always caused people, specially boys to look at us and wanted to be something more than friends.

When I finally got up, took a shower put on some hair products to be able to let my hair up in a messy ponytail, I decided to take my stuff and head to the kitchen were I knew my mom will at least have a cup of tea and some toast with jelly waiting for me.  

As I reached to the kitchen table, I saw that also she had left some money and an encouraging note, for my first day at work.

After eating and taking some selfies, I got out of the house and hopped on my motorcycle Dad gave me on my 18th birthday.  The  Pharmacy where I will be starting to work as a apprentice, since I was taking classes at college to be a Pharmaceutical and were I will be mostly as Mr. Green told me a cashier, will give me at least money to be able to go with Crystal now and then to the city mall and get some nice tops and shoes, which make us crazy.

The day before Mr. Green already showed me the job, so I just went in get my white coat and sat behind the cash register once I sweep in front of the counter and dust the shelves.

The day went really nice and quiet, that was very good since I only had to charged about 10 clients and also dispatched 2 of those 10 clients, since Mr. Green was busy with other clients at the moment.  

But I really wasnt ready for the last client of the day, when I heard the chimes on the front door sounded and before I could even look towards the door a strange but very wonderful denim musk scent reached my nose, my eye following the scent made four with two yellow grayish eyes on a sexy shaped face of a guy  that had a tan color skin and wavy dark hair, although I was a very tall girl he with his 6 feet 3 inches made me feel I was very short; he also had a real muscular type body, although he only had a normal tan long pants, white round T shirt and a with sneaker.

The way he was looking at me, I could tell, something made his soft look change the minute he entered the Pharmacy, but that he also tried to hide it, moving his eyes towards Mr. Green, and with a soft masculine voice started to ask for a medication.  

Although both of us tried not to stare at the other, I could feel how his eyes nervously seeked for mines when he came to pay for the medication, trying to calm my breathing when he ask me my name, since was the first time he saw me there.

By the way, I am Nathan Evans he said, then widen his eyes waiting for mines, I usually never gave my name up that easily, but I felt in an hypnotized state and right away said Im April Carter, then he smiled and said something about my height that I did not really heard since he was already walking towards the door and my eyes and mind was really checking his body out, making me want to know more about Nathan.
