Mia Alcaraz just had the most exciting news for the day. Mr. Lee from the main hotel, the Real Lux Hotel have personally requested her to supervise the wedding of Mr. Nikolav, the owner of the most lavishing Island anyone could set their eyes on. Mr. Lee saw all the determination and long hours he rendered to the hotel that everyone also witnessed.
Upon receiving the call, she packed her luggage and drove directly to the Lux. On the driveway, Mia has reflected on the life she had this past eight years. She is a simple girl, that has a simple life and a simple dream. To be the best hotel manager that is worthy of respect and praise. Scarlet, her childhood best friend is the one who help her realize that dream on an early age.
Unlike other rich kid, Scarlet never saw the status in life as a measurement of friendship. She treated Mia fairly and all the things she had, from food, to clothes and accessories and even gadgets, she shares it with Mia. Whatever new in the market, whatever she has, she would find way to also buy similar things to Mia, Sometimes, Mia thought that Scarlet treated her like a sister more that just a friend. This is true since Scarlet is an only child, that lacks motherly love since her mother hated her so much.
Mia knows everything about Scar, from the very first failure, first success, first love, first kiss and ever Scar’s first heartache. She knows because she is the one who’s to blame for Scar’s heartache.
Mia remembered that dreadful night. She was with her other friends at the party since Scar was not feeling well and was not able to attend the party.
Matthew, Scarlet’s boyfriend at that time offered her a drink since they share the most important person in their life, Scar.
When the night was busy with drunken teenagers, Mia enjoys the company of Matthew. She hid it to herself that she like Matthew. Mia would forever choose Scar before her feeling for Matthew. She would forever choose her best friend that the love of her life.
In the middle of their conversation, Mathew suddenly felt dizzy and requested their new brother Mason to take him to his hotel room. Mason followed Matthews order. She saw the two leave when some the waiter gave her the refill of her drink.
Like Matthew, she felt dizzy, but she can control herself as she thought it was just the alcoholic drink that caused it. She bade farewell to all her friends and went to her car. When she entered her car, she cannot help her eyes to shut.
Upon waking up, she discovers herself naked, in the arms of Matthew.
“f**k! What the hell?”. Mia shouted which resulted to Matthew waking up on the same confused state.
“Mia what have we done? I’m sorry. I don’t know how to explain myself. I don’t know how the hell did this happened. Did you followed me here?” Matthew asked.
With her mind so foggy, Mia quickly picked up her belongings and run as fast as she could from that room. She felt dirty. She felt guilty. She felt disgusted with herself.
As she tried to think what to do next, the only thing that comes to her mind was, how can she face Scarlet now? She has destroyed the trust of the only person who treasures her the most.
Mia did not go to school that day and later decided to transfer to a faraway school when she discovered that her photos with Matthew were scattered at school. She no longer has face to step on that school. She tried to call Scar, but she doesn’t know what to say. She doesn’t know where to begin.
As she transfers to her new school, she still holds the guilt of what happened. She regrets everything from loving secretly Matthew, to destroying their friendship. Mia learn to live with the guilt and continues to survive each day with the love and support of her friends and family.
She finished her degree and work now in the hotel owned by the famous Nikolav Marcus Real. Facilitating his wedding is a dream come true for Mia.
