Blood Relation?

Lily's POV Today is the day! Finally!!! I'm going to the biggest party I've heard of, the party where we are going tonight is all I've dream about my entire life and finally my mom and dad are going there with us, by us I mean me and Cole my stepbrother. I was dying to go there but Cole was not ready to go there because daddy is telling him to get engaged with the daughter of his new business partner but Cole was denying him all the time that he would not get engaged anytime soon but daddy insisted that he should just see the girl first and then make a decision so after all the mess daddy finally convinced him to just go to the party. I was getting ready for the party, today I wore a grey dress and left my hair open, I was ready to go there so I left my room wearing my high heels . I'm in the living room waiting for everyone but I guess I got ready too early then I took out my phone and started taking selfies and sent it to my best friend Bella as she replied that "you look so pretty Lily, I love you but please let me also get ready for the party I'm so late!!! " I laughed at her reply and continued with my cheesy selfies. I was pouting with a wink suddenly I saw Cole standing infront of me in a black tuxedo he was looking so good with his black hair gelled upwards and sparkling black eyes looking at me, I was so lost in that moment that I cannot move my eyes from him for the first time and maybe he is staring me too and then a phone call ruined my moment , I looked at my phone which was in its selfie position I don't know since when, then I picked up the call it was my mom "Lily where are you? We almost reached the hotel " That moment I realize that I was late they already left without letting me know I'm such a fool then I stand up from the couch and replied to my mom "we are just arriving in 2 minutes mom" And she hung up on me as she doesn't talk to me much. Then I said to Cole "we are late". " Can't you drive faster? " I said to Cole as he ignore me but drives very fast as we entered the hotel It feels so good here I've seen many parties but this one is amazing as I expected it to be . I was with my best friend Bella enjoying the party and then I told her about how I was staring Cole today, he doesn't even talk me I have never heard my name from his mouth I don't know why does he hate me so much. "I know we are not born from same mother but our father is still same" I said to Bella . "Maybe he's just annoyed that uncle loves you more and your mom is also involved in business with you dad " Bella said to me making me even more confused. "I don't know, he has been like this,leave him!!" And then Cole came to us and told me "Dad is calling you" In a rude attitude and I followed him with Bella. I reached there and saw my mom and dad talking to a man then daddy said "Mr.Wright here is my daughter Lily" I moved towards them and said hello then my father said "Lily meet Clara Mr.Wright's daughter, isn't she pretty? How will she look with Cole?" I saw Clara there standing in a black short dress 'very short' she is our senior in college she is a bully and she have a boyfriend which she changes every week. She will definitely look like s**t with Cole but I said "yeah she is pretty daddy" Which she is. I saw Cole looking at me with very sad eyes I don't know what he wants to say but he really looks sad. Then I saw Clara staring at Cole like she have never seen a handsome man before then moved toward him and whispered something in his ear, my blood was boiling and I exchange a glance with Bella and then Clara and Cole left from there. Cole is still looking at me with those sad eyes as I've done something wrong. I want to tell him this girl isn't what you deserve she is a bi*ch but I don't know even if he'll believe me, then Bella said "Lily, don't worry he'll be fine" And we left from there to the garden and I started crying and said "Bella help me save him from this girl I can't lose him like this" Bella hugged me and said "Don't worry, your brother will be fine. I'll tell him everything" Then after some time we moved to the party again as I was very sad so Bella took me near the dance floor and then I saw Cole and Clara dancing together in between of crowd I was shocked , then Bella said "Oh my god! This girl is such a bi*ch!! How can she dance like this with your brother" My brother yes this man is my brother why does this rude, annoying, stupid brain has to be my brother... But he looks so good... Then I saw them again she was so close to him there is no space between them not even for air I was so angry at Cole, how can he be such a stupid to dance with this girl but I ignored them and gave a fake smile to my lips like I'm enjoying the music and Bella also does the same. "I can't breathe here let's go somewhere else" Bella said in a suffocated tone. I just nodded and turned and bumped in a boy, Oh I know him, he's from our college, he said "Sorry.....um....do you know me? " I said "no" And then he said that "I know you, you are Lily Davis right?" How does he know my name? "Will you dance with me?" I looked at Bella who said "you dance Lily I will just come back in a minute" And she left. What am I supposed to do now then I said "okay" After thinking for 2 minutes ,Then he hold my hand and took me to the dance floor. His one hand is on my back and another one is intertwined with my fingers. To break the awkwardness I asked "what's your name?" "Elijah Smith" He said and smiled. I can still see Cole from here I guess he can't see me, how long is he planning to dance with this girl. "You are more beautiful from here" And he pulled me closer to him, he is holding me so tight then he moved both his hand to my waist and my arms are on his shoulders now. Looking at his blue eyes just like mine and black silky hair but Cole looks more handsome then him, why am I even thinking about him.....then I said "thanks"and looked down while smiling, I don't know why I'm feeling shy suddenly. "Can I have your phone number?" Elijah said with confused eyes I looked at him again, I was about to answer but... "Yes! Why not? She came here to sell her phone number right?" Said Cole standing behind me and he removed Elijah's hand from my waist and pulled me towards him his one hand is on his waist and another is on my shoulder pulling me closer to him. "You have a boyfriend?" Elijah said standing in front of me , I was about to reply him but Cole said "Do you have a problem if I would take her from you for a while?" Elijah made a disgusted face and left. "What was that? " I asked angrily, Cole answered "nothing" I again asked him "what will he be thinking about me? And you? My boyfriend? " Cole removed his hand from my shoulder and said "I don't care" And left. I followed him as he was walking too fast, I'm holding my dress and walking as fast as I can then finally he stopped where our parents were standing. They were posing together with Mr.Wright and his phycho daughter, yes I'm calling her phycho and that also have a reason, we have something unfinished in past. She is posing with my family. Then me and Cole also joined them as daddy told us to. I can just feel thier disgusting vibe they are Standing so close, how can someone be this close to a stranger in their first meeting, I think this girl is forcing my brother...and I'm standing here like I am a stranger....beside my mother, can't she just stand close to me, I'm her only daughter!!! why is she like this? Finally, someone came to save me... My best friend Bella... Wait a second, she is with Elijah. What is he doing with her? They are also taking pictures. "Lily! Come join us." Bella said waving a hand towards me and I was waiting for her to get me out from this shi*ty photograph then I just moved to another side where Bella and Elijah were standing. Elijah was smiling, is he not mad about what Cole did? Bella started to take a selfie and Elijah just came between us and said"not without me" Moving is hand to my waist... He is again making a move. "Stand there, I'll take a picture of you both" Bella said while winking towards me , I guess she told him that Cole is my 'Step brother' . We were posing and Bella said "You look so good together, you guys should date" I was shocked at her statement as I can feel my cheeks are getting hot... Am I blushing , no no no I can't do this. Elijah smiled looking towards me and I smiled back he looks so good while smiling, why did I never noticed him in college? "Can you take a picture of me as well with my sister?" Cole came and asked Bella as she nodded in a yes.... Why is he being so irritating today? "Could please step aside for a minute?" Cole said in a rude way to Elijah as he just moved toward Bella ... Poor Elijah. Cole came towards me and stand beside me holding me so tight by my waist.. He is so close to me.... Then he removed his hands from my waist and hold my hand tightly and said "We have to go now" And he was dragging me outside the hotel I asked him "Hey!! Stop it! Where are mom and dad?" He let go of my hand and said "they already left" Oh really? I mean okay then.
