Party time

Here it is. It’s time. I just slipped my dress on and my mother helped me with my shoes. Since it’s for unmated wolfs only the Luna will speak and then leave and join the mated pairs. I’m waiting for Luna Rose to call me on stage.

“Thank you everyone for joining us today. As you all know today is our Beta’s daughter 18th birthday. Crystal can you step out here?” I sign and walk out everyone yells happy birthday. “We have invited you all here to help not just Crystal find her mate but you as well. There is a second party on the other side of the pack house. Once you find your mate you may come join us to give everyone else a chance to meet there’s. Have a good night.” Then she walks my off stage.

“Thank you Luna” I thank you with a hug and she walks away. I join everyone on the dance floor as the music plays. Still no sign of my mate. I noticed already about a dozen people have left to the other party.

I notice the time and seen some one step on stage to direct everyone to the tables for dinner. My favorite. So glad I got pick out dinner. I sit at the head table with a few random guys. Our plates come, a 1in T-bone steak with sautéed Onions and mushrooms along with a loaded baked potato, asparagus, and a bowl of Cesar Salad. I cut into my steak and it’s cooked to perfection MED-raw just the way I like it.

As people where done they head back to the dance floor as a few omegas picked up the dishes and reset the tables for dessert. They replaced the dirty plates with clean ones and places slices of all types of cakes and pies on the tables so everyone could pick n choose when they were ready. More people have left so I would guess only half of us remained.

‘Serenity why haven’t we found him. If he really did send those roses wouldn’t he be here by now? Wouldn’t he of came to use by now’

‘Calm down he’s here. I can feel it. Maybe he’s waiting so you can enjoy your party before taking you away to the mated party’

‘True but I can’t help the feeling that he won’t show him self today’

I turn back to the dance floor and dance with a couple of guys. I’m not trying to get friendly with names. I grab a few girls from the pack and have them join us. One of the girls locks eyes with a Warrior and they grab each other and walk off. Another female walked up to us and grabbed one of the girls hands and blushed then walked off. One thing about mates you might think you are straight as can be but when you find your mate it could be the same s*x as you. I think it’s awesome that the Moon Goddess pairs people like that. Some thinks it’s wrong and gross until they are the one falling head over heals for another male or female.

I move about make small talk as I see people finding their mates and I’m starting to give up so I go find my seat and stuff my face with cheesecake. I eat that all and grab another when all of a sudden I smelt this intoxicating smell. A smell of a fall bonfire with a hit of maple. I close my eyes as the smell gets stronger. I can’t move, I can’t open my eyes. Am I dreaming? Is he finally here? I’ve never smelt anything like this before. Next I knew someone was reaching around me with roses in hands. He buried He’s face in my neck and took a breath in and kissed my neck. A shiver went down my body and I turned around to face then man I’ve been waiting for.

‘Mate! Mate! See I told you he was here’

I turn and there he is Future Alpha Lander Storm. I’m trying to speak but I can’t. He lets out a little chuckle that made me blush. Time stood still as we looked at each other.I don’t understand. I know I wanted him, but why would the Moon Goddess choose him as my mate? I thought it was a school crush that just hasn’t gone away.

“Happy birthday future Luna Crystal Storm,” he spoke and my jaw dropped. He chuckled again and put a soft gentle kiss on my lips.

“Th.. th.. thank you. But how did you know? How long have you known?”

“Since the day I turned 18, so 11 days ago. I don’t know how I knew due to you not being of age but I just knew. I’ve prayed to the Moon Goddess since I was 16 for you and she blessed me with you. It was so hard to stay away from you. But I don’t have to now. Your mine!”

“16 why? Why me?”

“Because even without a word you could change my mood. There has always been something drawn to you. Zander my wolf has wanted me to be friend you from the day he seen you. That blonde haired blue eyed nurd I think he wanted me to use you for your brains at first, but the more we watched you the more I seen you to be my Luna.”

“Really? I’ve felt drawn to you as well. That’s why I wouldn’t block my test from you like I would the others. But I thought it was always the alpha beta pull. Lander to be honest I’ve prayed for you as well. My mom said I shouldn’t get my hopes up for you but I’m glad for the out come.” He grabbed my hand in his and kissed the back of it. Sparks went flying through my body. He the grabs my chin with his other hand and kisses me slow and soft. I want more. I want all of him. I place my hand on the back of his head and pull him closer for a heavy kiss. He doesn’t fight it but joins to meet my fierce kiss.

We finally stop for air as we hear whistles all around. It looked like everyone from both parties was gathered around us celebrating.

“You know what this means Rose? We have a wedding and Luna ceremony to plan,” Luna Beth said. Making the crowd louder.

“Well Beta Brandon looks like you have you chair along side you sister and future brother-in-law. Everyone that has came thank you. I hope all have found there mates and those who have not just remember they are still out there. Good night everyone and have a safe trip home,” Alpha Jeremy spoke and every cheered and started clearing out.

It was just mom, dad, Luna, and Alpha left with my mate and I. We hung around talking while helping the omegas clean up. Yes that was their duty but this pack don’t think we are any better then any other rank. Mom and Luna Rose pulled me off to the side to tell me that they had a surprise from me and my mate. I got Lander’s attention and he came walking up to us. Our mothers gave him a paper with directions on it. We didn’t leave yet we wanted to help finish cleaning up.

Wait. Did mom and Luna know? But how? Unless Lander told his mom. Mom and Luna were good friends as their moms were as well. I gotta ask mom.

‘Mom did you know’

‘No. I had no clue’

‘The surprise from you and Luna?’

‘Luna Beth filled me in while y’all were you know sucking face. She had told me about the pull Lander was having with you. She explained what happened when he turned 18 and seen you. Then she filled me in on the surprise and wanted me to be apart of it. She knew I can’t hide anything from you. I’m horrible at surprises.’

‘Thank you mom’

Lander can up to me. “You know what happens on your 18 birthday other then your mate right?”

“I get to shift. I know Serenity hasn’t left me alone about it and now I get to do it with you.” I explain to him who Serenity is. And his eyes go glossy. “Normally our first s**t happens with the family but I would like it just us too and save the family shifting for the Luna ceremony.”

He nods and his eyes went glossy again to relay the message. We both wave as Lander pulls out the paper from our mothers. He looks so amazing. The moon light hitting his eyes making them glow in the night sky. I can’t help to blush. I feels like nothing can tear me down. How many nights I’ve hoped and prayed for him. And soon I will bare his mark as he will bare mine. He grabs my hand and sparks fly again. I will never get tired of this feeling. We start to walk as we see a path in the tree lines lite up with fairy lights.

We head down the trail to find a little wood cabin in the woods. How long has this been here? I’ve never seen it before? We get closer and seen a hot tube on the porch with a sign on the door ‘Lander & Crystal’s Getaway’. Awe did they build this for us? I stand in awe as I take in the details. I here the waterfall theat is just left of the cabin. Lander pulls out a key to unlock the door. We walk in and it’s decorated With pics of us growing up. Even pictures that some home someone got of us together over the years. It was perfect.

Lander turned and took my hands in his as he spoke. “I hope mom didn’t go over board but it looks like you like it. I wanted a place for us. This is our get away. I don’t know why the Moon Goddess decided to bring me you early, but I was able to do this for you just in time. I was putting this finishing touches that why I was late tonight. Would you like a tour?”

“I would,” I say as he walks me around. There a small but very functional kitchen big enough for the two of us. There is a half bath off the kitchen and a small office. Down the hall was a door. He opened it up and I gasp. There was a king size bed, I could tell it was made from hand out of oak. There was a huge dresser with a mirror and another on the other side for Lander. Off to the right was another door. I walk to it and open it up. There was a huge walk in shower big enough for us plus more. To the left of the shower was a tub big enough for the two of us with a his and hers sink.

Every detail in this place was amazing, hand made.

“How did you do this if you said it has only been 11 days since you knew it was me?” I questioned

“To be honest I had a lot of help. Beta Joel helped a lot and some others.”

“My dad? Did he know?”

“No he just knew I wanted it for me and my luna.”

I grabbed his hands and gave him a kiss. There was so much feelings running through my body, I couldn’t help myself.
