At six o'clock in the evening, Lea finished work punctually and left the Lester Group.
She drove to Blair's house, ready to pick up Carl and take him back to the Lester residence.
She thought, in three days she would be divorcing Jason, and it was about time for Carl to meet Eric and Mia.
Lea dialed the phone with a smile, her eyes filled with tenderness.
The call connected quickly, and Carl's soft, gentle voice came through the phone, "Mommy, are you coming to Blair's house tonight to see me?"
She said, "Alright, I'm on my way now. Carl is going to change his clothes and tidy up a bit."
Carl seemed to have a strong connection with his mother, and quickly asked, "Who is Mommy taking me to meet?"
She said, "Taking you to meet Granddad."
No sooner had Lea's voice faded away than Carl
