Hello and thank you for giving this a try. This is my first time really publishing anything so I really hope everyone enjoys. this has some pretty brutal content so please read with caution.  With that said lets begin   It was a cold and dark stormy night. I am sitting at the foot of my bed watching as each bolt of lighting lights up the room. The wind is blowing very hard at my balcony doors. The wind is so strong you can hear the whole house creek as it tries to stand up through this storm. Finally I hear a loud gust. The balcony doors give out and the wind blows them open. I sit there and look at the doors. There stands a tall shadow figure staring at me. My eyes widen as I realize I am no longer alone. I reach under my thigh and grab the stake.  "I have been expecting you, I guess they would only send you to kill me." I look at the figure. The figure stands tall and stiff. The eyes behind the tribal mask watch me waiting for my move. I sit there anticipating their move. A few minutes of silence fall in the room. The thunder crashing and the lighting proving little light.  "You know they would not have sent me if you didn't run away and go rogue on us!" The figure hisses at me.  "Well unfortunately for them I didn't agree with everything they were doing so sucks to suck but I would rather die than go back." I will tell you about this figure.  "You would rather leave the clan and your husband and die for being foolish?" The figure is now starting to walk towards me. I slowly move my hand up with the stake in it and stand ready to fight.  "If that means my freedom and me no longer killing innocent people and going back to animals then it's what I must do." I go to swing at the figure with the stake. He catches my hand and knees me in the stomach causing me to drop the stake and fall to the ground. I quickly hurry to my feet and try to kick the figure away from me. As the lightning flashes again I see the eyes and the hair a lot better now. I push him away from me.  "So the clan sent you to kill me and you are okay with killing your own wife Isaac?" I scream at him. After everything we had been through they sent my own husband to end me. Not all too shocked to be honest though. The clan always does s**t like this.  "Please just let this end quickly so that I can report back and kill myself." Isaac begging me.  "Why kill me when we can just both run away from the clan? They can send others to look for us but I doubt they will really find their best clan mates." I said as I watched him closely. Issac and I are the best hunters and best fighters. I don't think they will want to follow us.  "Damn it Victoria!" He yells at me flinging off his mask. "Why did you have to run away and make this all complicated? You were next in line for the leader!" He tells me as his voice begins to break.  "How do you think I feel knowing they sent my husband to lead me to my demise?" I growl  He looks up at me again with pain in his eyes.  "Victoria I love you. I don't want to kill you but Tyler thinks you will come back with an army and lead to their downfall. He's worried that you will go and turn all these humans into vampires only to get back. He thinks you are a threat." He says watching my moves closely.  "Isaac come with me and I will drop this beef with the clan, let's go live somewhere together like we have always wanted. Let's get a dog and try to have the best normal life that two vampires can have." I tell him with tears rolling down my face.  "Okay I wont attack you as long as you promise not to hurt me." Issac says.  "Deal." I say watching him closely. He walks over to me and puts his arms out for a hug. I hug him back and kiss his cheek.  "I love you." I tell him.  "I love you too, don't get mad and please trust me." He says, I feel a sharp pain in my back and my vision starts to blur as I see two other dark figures walk in. Figures. All I see is black. Is this what it feels like to finally die? Is this what my destiny had planned for me? I start to replay my memories of how I even got here.  As a young human girl I was never welcomed anywhere. Everyone would pick on me and made sure I knew I didn't belong. I would always beg my family to home school or even just move me but they never listened. My mom would tell me to suck it up and fight back. The one time I tried to punch Trisha in the face she had the other girls hold me and she beat me while they held me for her. I had a black eye and bruises all over my face and stomach. Even then my mom used to tell me “girls will be girls.”  I was in High School when I finally made the change. Yes by the change I mean from human to vampire. It was late one night and I was walking home drunk from a friend's house when he found me. Iassc came up to me and introduced himself.  “Do you want to live forever and make those pay who hurt you most? Those who should have been there to protect you, but failed you time and time again?” He asked me with a huge smile showing his fangs.  “What do I have to do to make these people pay?” I ask him highly intrigued.  “Become mine.” he says with another huge grin.  "Become yours? What do you mean by that?" I ask him confused.  "I turn you into a vampire and we will live together for the rest of our lives." He said,  "I don't honestly know about that. Can I think about it?" I ask him looking down at the ground.  "Sure he says, just know I'm watching you, when you are ready just say so and I will make the change." He smiles again. I close my eyes for a second to let what's fully happening sit in my head. When I open my eyes he's gone but there is a note that reads  "Hope to see you soon, Isaac"  I walk home as quickly as I can trying to reel in what happened. Who was he and what did he mean a vampire? As a child I had only read about them in books but for them to be real and alive? I guess it was not the craziest thing I had heard. As I got home I stumbled in the door. My mom was up.  “Victoria where have you been? Are you drunk again?” She asked me angry.  “No s**t, shocked you even care. You use me as a punching bag like everyone else!” I yell at her. She walks up to me with a mad look on her face. She grabs me by my shirt and hits me as hard as she can. I fell to the ground from the impact and looked up at her. She kicks me as hard as she can in my ribs. I feel a sharp pain. As I am trying to get up she hits me again and knocks me back to the ground then spits on me.  “Know your place b***h!” she yells at me “Now get up and go to your room, you are a worthless child!” she says as she kicks me once more as hard as she can causing more pain to my ribs.  “I’m not a child!” I yell at her “I will be 18 here in a  few weeks then I can get away from you!”  She just shakes her head and laughs. “Let’s see if you live that long.” She says as she walks away from me.  I get to my room and lift up my shirt and look in the mirror. There is already bruising on my rids and my face as well. I look out my window and question why I was treated like this by the woman who brought me into this world. I go to the bathroom and shower thinking about my encounter with Iassc. “Make them pay” was all I could think about. But what did he mean by be his? Did he like me or did he want me as an underling. Either way to be free and to be able to make them pay. Most of all my mom. The woman who is supposed to love and protect me hates my guts. As I got out of the shower and headed to my room I locked my door. I draw the curtains and I lay there in my bed thinking. Is this something I really want? I can not take this back. I soon manage to pass out but not without thinking of Issac’s face
